The online check in process was long and complicated. I had to go to this location because my preferred location did not have the van I reserved. It would be great if you could get the van to the location that was open.Julie K.
Mike Keegan was very prompt and helpful. My new pickup had a different trailer plug than the UHaul linear 4-pin, and he GAVE me a plug-adapter to my 7-pin receptacle, that he said he had 'hanging around the shop'. Many thanks for your generosity!Jon W.

I personally did not care for several parts of the process. The online form to reserve with all the add ons page by page was frustrating and took too much time. I also much prefer the old fashion" show me the vehicle and check the vehicle". checking the pictures and taking the pictures ~ not a fan, but I understand that is the way we do everything now. The vehicles are always cleaned and well maintained before picking up, and I try to return them in the same or better condition. THe convenience of the location is also valuable to the Seacoast region, as it is in the middle of the 17 mile NH coastline.JOSEPH T.

Cell phone service is a huge problem long RT. 1 at this location which makes 24/7 pickup difficult. The app was slow and took a long time to get me checked in.Allison G.

My original pick up location called 2 days before my date to let me know that they wouldn't have the car transport I would need, but had located one not too far away. Ok, not a problem for me. The location wouldn't be open on the Sat pick up date and asked if I could get the trailer a day early, no extra charge. Which I did. Both locations involved with the pick up were great and helpful. The car transport was in excellent conditions. This next part isn't the fault of the locations or people, but you need a BETTER database!! All they had to go on were just locations to drop off. Not whether or not these other locations accepted the unit rented. I was given a location to return the car transport and neither location in Thorndale PA could accept it. The toll free number was used and was given the runaround. I finally wound up at the location in Frazer PA who made calls and helped me out. Would rent again from either the Salisbury MA or N Hampton NH locations.Buddy W.

A little confusion with the pickup since I do not allow tracking on my phone so the code to the key box was never sent. He person I ordered with should have explained that to me. Luckily, the owner Mike was there and he completely handled things for us. We now found a professional local auto shop as well that we will absolutely use. Thank you Mike!!!!Michael B.

Hard to find. Location was closed for 1/2 the week. When i went to drop off the truck, got into a screaming match with the person doing work outside the building. Overall RUDE! After this horrible transaction im going to seek a truck rental from Enterprise.Bruce H.
My entire experience has been difficult and unfriendly. From the beginning when the app wasn't working when I went to pick up the van, till I got the receipt saying that there was damage that I didn't do. The application wasn't working, therefore I got bypassed through the entire process, therefore not taking any photos of the van and not knowing that I needed to. Now, I am being charged for the damage I didn't do. Very frustrated and haven't found any contact I've had with customer service to be helpful in any way shape or form.Katherine A.

The locations, their staff, and truck were fine. U-Haul's online reservation program absolutely SUCKS! When I registered by phone, your reservation agent 1.) put in the wrong time for pickup (they put in PM not AM for the time), so 2.) when I showed up to the NEW HAMPSHIRE U-Haul location to pick up the truck at the (closed) location using your app, I was 12 hours early per reservation; 3.) I called your customer service team and got a "person in training" who did not know how to fix the reservation time and had her supervisor in the background advising what to do ...after 45 minutes of not fixing the issue, I cancelled the reservation and 4.) called back to make a new reservation and was assisted promptly to get the truck from where I was (this customer person was very helpful) but ...5.) later that evening when I went to return the truck to "CHELMSFORD, MASSACHUSETTS", where I had arranged the drop off your stupid app/online system informed me that I was to return it BACK TO NEW HAMPSHIRE! so 6.) I called your customer service team who COULD NOT CHANGE THE RESERVATION but gave me another number to call with information that they could change the return location so I called the next number but ...7.) they were CLOSED FOR THE EVENING, not to reopen til 9am the next day (change my weekend plans now!!!) so I waited til next day (Sunday) when 8.) I received an e-mail to inform me to return the truck to LOWELL, MASSACHUSETTS (a different place than I had arranged (CHELMSFORD, MA) but a town further away from my home; so I drove the truck to return the truck WITH MORE GAS THAN I HAD WHEN I PICKED IT UP THE DAY BEFORE and 9.) was checked in at the LOWELL facility where the desk clerk kept trying to make excuses for the internet/reservation screw ups and CHARGED ME $6.00 FOR REFUELING!! ...10.) when I asked him why he charged me for more gas despite my returning the tank with more fuel than what I picked up, he did not know what to say (but gave me the credit on my demand). SUCKS, SUCKS, SUCKS ...will never use your service again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!kenneth G.
The mileage to be driven needs to be explained better. Why do I have to indicate how many miles I'd be driving. How do I even know? If I go over the specified miles I go into the contractor rate of 79.95/day. I rented the van for two days and on the second day didn't drive it because I would have been over in miles. Uhaul seems to have excellent representation, Keegan Auto couldn't have been friendlier or more personable. I utilize Uhaul and have never been disappointed with anyone I've come in contact with. From Portsmouth to Tennessee to Salisbury Massachusetts then back to New Hampshire . No going wrong with UhaulHEATHER L.
