I've had to rent a few U-Hauls and the last few months helping friends out and so forth and I have never had the issues that I had getting this U-Haul. The person there had no idea what he was doing, I had to wait while he waited on six or seven customers at a time periodically through our transaction. By the time I had finally left I was hour late for work.Jasmine G.
They have no clue about how to fill out the paper work. It was filled out wrong vehicle have the wrong mileage on the sheet compared to the vehicle and the employee's are very rude.William T.

The associate I dealt with was Mary when I picked up the uHaul. She was having issues with the system but was very friendly. If there is one thing you could improve on it would be the flow of the rental process it's self. Employees shouldn't have to use their personal cell phones for the company.Brandi D.

We ordered a 20 foot truck. They called the day before to tell us there would be a 20 foot truck for us AS LONG AS NOBODY ELSE SHOWED UP EARLY TO RENT IT! That's the whole point of renting ahead of time. To make sure it is ready for us when we get there. Then when we should up the girl said sorry, we only have a 26 foot truck. Too big for us to use in the space we needed it to get in. We made it work but she quoted us twice the price.Matthew M.

I drove a total of 33 miles. It took $20 to fill up the tank. An average of 6.6 miles per gallon on top of the $0.79 per mile. This vehicle sounded like a to can bouncing down the road. It was supposed to be $19.95 a day. In total I spent almost $90. Not happy about it. .Thomas P.

We wered dropping off the equipment early. The gentleman on the phone told us what we should do to return our equipment, but when we got there after a long day. We were handed off from person to person while they decided who could complete the process, and worse we had return the pads and dolleys from the truck into the store because employee didnt want to do it. Other employees were confused what to do with the whole process of returning equipment. Overall, even though we need a uhaul truck a few more times this month, we will NEVER use this location again. The location was perfect. Easy access, large lot, nice, helpful, & patient staff. UHaul however, was such a pain. Prior credit could NOT be entered into the system by managers, UHaul reps. Their own code I was sent was showing â€œinvalidâ€ Still paid FULL price. Took over 2hrs. My debit card they asked for a hold on, I wasn't allowed to make the rental payment with it & told to I had to use a different card for the transaction. I had to leave, drive home, & come back using my wife's card to pay. My family has used UHaul for years & the last 2 experiences were just not executed in a normal timely manner.JOEL S.

It seems this location just is using u haul as extra income with no customer service. No supplies at location for basic towing needs. Rented a 6x12 trailer and questioned my 73 year old husband when he ask for help hooking the trailer to our truck. The young fella needed to use a jack to hook it up and also could not pick it up as they expected my husband to do. Would not recommend this location.Robert K.

Well they could start with customer service. The windshield was cracked from the person before and they waited until we got there to tell us. I said okay as long as it's documented well she messed up my whole order so I had to wait an HOUR while she was on the phone with U-Haul and kept checking people out in front of me! I finally get the keys and the truck doesn't start! I have video of it as well. After 10 tries we go back and tell them plus they didn't give us our dolly well she says Adam (I believe) is cooking you'll have to wait or leave without it! Well how else do we move across state!!!! So we wait for him he comes out and clicks it a few times it finally starts and he looks at us and says "don't you know how to push a key in?" Very sarcastically! And what do you know the truck ran sluggish and horrible the whole time I had to be scared to be stuck in the side of the road with everything I own and paying $600 at that!!!! Holy cow I would love a bit of a refund for my stress and troubles atleast you guys are supposed to make this easier!BRANDON P.
We have rented trucks for our business for 7 years. We usually rent from Penske as we do a lot of larger hauling and have commercial rates with them. We rented this Uhaul truck as we had an unexpected truck need on a Sunday that we would only need for that day for local use. We understand that trucks are 24 hour rentals as that is what we are paying for. We received a call 6 hours into our rental period stating that the police were being called as we were "red flagged" for not returning our truck by 6PM???? At the point we received this call we had already returned the truck even though it technically was not due back until the end of our rental period, 10Am the following day. This is the absolute worst communication approach and policy I have ever encountered from a business. When we pay for a 24 hour rental we expect full use of a the rental during that time-frame. We also expect any communication to be courteous and non threatening as we are the paying customer. To call and threaten a police notification when a rental is within the allocated paid time-frame is unfathomable. Beyond this outlandish communication/threats we also have after hours charges yet someone was there for both our pickup at 10AM and our drop-off at 6PM - explain the after hours part? We also were charged $28 for insurance while it was less than that online. Each time we rent from Uhaul we promise to never do it again - given this "policy" and communication approach we find any and all means to avoid future equipment rentals.Josh J.
Online check-in would not work. So, it took an extra 15 minutes to check-in. Also, when i filled the tank back to 1/2 full, the gas gage did not move, so i added another 5 gallons. When i started driving, the gas gage went up to 3/4. I only needed to return it with a half tank.ANDREW P.

This had nothing to do with the location, everyone was nice and very helpful. I made my reservation on the app and wanted to select a different drop off point. It changed to the same location without me realizing it. When I called uhaul for help I was told I was using an in town truck and it has to returned to the same location. Why would you not label the selections when getting the truck, "in town only" I was able to return without being a charged a ridiculous fee but had to take an extra hour out of my day to do so. Just label on the first page where you choose the vehicle. Not hard. That seems like a shady practice to me.Amber C.

I was renting a 5x9 trailer to move my disabled father in law. We did not put me as a listed driver (didnt realize would have to for a trailer) so when I arrived we had to cancel his reservation and re-rent it in my name. This took almost an hour since the clerk also works the gas station and restaurant register. I only kept the trailer about 7 hours and brought it back about 530 pm same day. On check in they took pictures and I asked if there was a receipt. I was told the only paperwork needed to go in their file. Monday I see the receipt from UHaul and it says I didnt bring it back until almost noon on Sunday which is absolutely inaccurate and caused me to be charged an extra day. I have a complaint ticket in with UHaul where I called Monday morning to ask about this. It took almost 45 minutes waiting on the phone to talk to someone and I was told they would investigate. It is now Wednesday afternoon and I have still not heard back. I want the extra day refunded as I only rented for 7 hours. The 24.00 (+8 damage waiver) turned into over $70. I could not be more unhappy with the whole transaction and process but the trailer itself did suit my needs of delivering one load of items to charity.Jack S.

The directions in the online check-in say to put the keys in a drop box, but neglect to mention the drop box is behind the counter of the gas station nearby. They were eventually able to accept it after getting a manager to see the screen on my phone after checking it in, but before that we spent about 15 minutes driving around looking for a drop box.STERLING B.

The original pick-up location in Loveland did not have a truck for me. I received an email and phone call 10 minutes before I pulled into Loveland (from Michigan) to pick up the truck. I got different stories from the U-Haul rep and location rep on why the truck wasn't available, although there was a truck on site. The re-direct and delays cost me 2 hours in picking up my rental.Stan K.

They generally have the equipment needed but it is always parked in a gravel area that is often muddy. And they have very few people that can get the check-in and check-out process right.Armand A.

The computer system did not like my reservation, which caused an hour delay in getting my U-Haul and tow dolly. Upon getting the tow dolly, I noticed the connector cable for the brake lights was missing. We informed the staff and were told to look for other cables on other dollies. This location never had the cables we needed, and so we were told to drive to another location (10 minutes away) to retrieve the connector. This U-Haul location NEEDS to ensure they have all proper equipment needed to fulfill customer reservations.Christopher T.

Worse trailer I rented. Return process was more difficult than I have experienced at any other location. I would only go back if no other locations had any options available. Ratchet straps were hard to ratchet/rusted. Rear chain was hanging down and dragging when I picked it up so I had to adjust it.Matthew C.

I rented a 20' truck for a 6 hour period. Actual pick up time was 1:52 PM. It was supposed to be 1:30. Drop off time was 7:46 PM THAT SAME DAY. It was supposed to be 7:30. No one was waiting for a rental and there were other trucks on the lot. I was charged for 2 day rental. I disputed it with Discover. Kennett sent in documentation (same as mine). They said all charges were valid. Discover denied my dispute. I am in the process of contacting Kennett. Very shading dealings with charges. If used, be careful of charges. I never had issues like this with other U-Haul rental locations and I had returned truck as much as 30 minutes late one time. Won't use them nor recommend them at this point. Location was fine. Treated me well. Trailer was dirty inside and all the tire pressures were low. Two at 20psi. Well below the 65psi recommended. Most people wouldn't check this and find out when they blow a tire on the highway.John V.
