The cell service is poor in the area so early pickup via the 24/7 didn't work. Fortunately a person was there to help and get me on my way to meet movers. Very thankful for his help to make a stressful day somewhat less.Paul G.

Pro's-the online check-out process. This is one of the locations where you can check the truck out and in through the Uhaul app. The line to rent inside the office was pretty long, but I was able to bypass it and pick up my key at the lock box. Con-the van reeked of wet dog and there was pet hair everywhere. Despite that, the truck was in great condition and got the job done.Tiffany D.

Overall the rental went smoothly, 4.5/5 stars. The only problem was at check-in. The check-in process was a little confusing because I didn't know if I would get access to the lockbox at the end, so it would be very helpful to add some language that states â€œyou will receive key access after you complete the check-in processâ€ or something. The location, staff, and equipment were excellent. The website information, however, was unsatisfactory. The information online is not consistent with what they actually have and when they have it. It is best to go in person to reserve equipment.Scott H.

The gentleman working on the day we picked up the truck was clearly overworked and underpaid but did a great job regardless. However, the facility was understaffed (at least 8-10 people waiting in line to pick up their trucks with only one guy working). Also, we reserved a truck from a different location and showed up to pick it up and were told that there were no trucks available. What is the point of reserving a truck from a location if there are not going to be any trucks available at that location? Overall a poor experience, but kudos to the only guy working at this location for working hard and as quickly as possible.Jacob E.

Upon of the vehicle employees told us that reservations made weeks previously had to be confirmed by phone the day before equipment pickup, and that no reservation was committed until that time. After 30 minutes of worry my reservation was honored despite not receiving the phone call. Others waiting in line were not so lucky. Uhaul is the only company I am aware of whose online reservations are not honored and no notice of the phone call policy is on the website. This is a big problem if you find out at the last minute that you cannot complete a move that was planned for weeks.Antonio E.

In the time frame of 2 weeks I have been wrong at this location. 1st I brought and paid for 3 TV boxes i go to puck them up and they only had done. Then a rent a truck and dolly well in advance the day if my move. I go to check my truck and no dollyðŸ˜¡ im moving in a hour. He tells me go to south college location which is about a 15 min drive i called the store as I start over to them and am put in hold for the whole length of time driving over finally some one answers from just the general 1-800# and says yes the store you are going to has one would you like to reserve I said im here now I will just got in and get itðŸ˜¡ they tell me in the store no we don't have any dolliesðŸ˜¡ðŸ˜¡ðŸ˜¡ my time my money and my energy was spent with this company having horrible customer service. Reserved a larger trailer the day before pick-up since it didn't show as available on the web-site, but when I arrived there was a smaller one that fit my needs perfectly and the rep (didn't catch his name) was very helpful, professional and friendly and able to rent me the smaller one. I will be returning to this U-Haul rental location within a month or so as everything about it (especially the customer service) was great! I was running late to it up and the number that's on the website attached to this location wouldn't answer, that was a bit frustrating. The rep gave me a card with their direct number, so at least I'll have it now.Tanya M.

Make the local phone number NOT roll to the national call center because they are completely useless answering questions that only the local business can address. Additionally, they have NO WAY to contact them on your behalf. Although your online tools are fine, there are simply some things only the local office can answer.Edwin H.
