The young lady that was working the desk was very polite, respectful, and friendly. However, she was not knowledgeable on the Uhaul computer system and did not seem like she had been trained to accomplish this part of the business. She sent me to the Uhaul location down the street to attempt contract completion at the other location, but they had to send me right back. When she finally got my contract completed on the phone with a Uhaul rep, she sent me to parking lot to get the equipment without even checking what I took or showing me how to hook up the trailer. She just stayed in the office. The entire pick up process took 55 minutes.

Have staff that know how to even rent the equipment out. Also have what online says is available. They didn't have one of the two rolling dollies I ordered or the hand truck and then she couldn't take them off my bill because she Doesn't know what she's doing, and I got charged for renting them and not returning them. Fucking ludacris bullshit!!

The worker did not respect my privacy, she completed my reservation and asked my name address phone number while another customer was filling out an application for storage. She was not knowledgeable about the process as far as saving me money. I could have returned the rental to this location but was told it was cheaper to drop it off elsewhere. I spent 180 dollars when I could have saved some cash, with the local move. The Cab had a box in it and the smell inside was not good. She never came out to inspect the Cab with me and told me I had to fill the tank up to 7/8 and return it with 7/8 and it was actually below 1/4. overall a horrible experience through an already stressful time. I selected not to use the storage facility due to the lack of professionalism.

we reserved a trailer when we got there to pick it up it was the only one they had. the passenger tire was bald and cords were showing in spots on it. The answer I got was that I was dropped off over the weekend and nobody checked it in. since it was the only trailer available we took it and then called road side assistance to get the tire replaced. there are 3 other uhaul dealers in town and no one had a trailer or would work on the tire.I recommend that uhaul takes a look at the dealers in Valdosta and their business practices I was not happy with any of their service and the lack of assistance we got from then in that area.

The cab of the truck was dirty, and there was a running crack in the windshield. Although the location was in the middle of nowhere the lady was polite. I will not be a returning customer.

The trailer was defective. The spring on the rear of the trailer was broken. Not recently either due to the rust and corrosion on the spring. This created a hazardous situation. The spring hung down enough to spark when driving over low surfaces. Secondly, the trailer prevented the truck towing it from going over 45 mph on an interstate. Lastly and most importantly the trailer, in its dilapidated condition could have caused a fatality. My brother, a Deputy, had to take over and drive on the interstate because he felt more qualified with his defensive driving skills. The trailer fish tailed continuously. I will never rent, nor will I suggest anyone rent from Kings Gate either. GA DOT will be informed as well.

It would be great if U haul could help customers when they have problems with backing up a truck with an auto transport in the back of it. Or at least a manual or to let customers call them and have the personnel instruct them on what to do instead of telling them they need to find a better driver. I had trouble backing up the 20 feet truck off a hill and a couple of friends had tried to help who are experienced drivers but they were unsuccessful as well when trying to back it up. I called a nearby u haul at decatur Georgia and they said they couldn't help and hung up. U haul needs better customer service. I probably won't use this company again or recommend this company.

This kings gate was fine and the lady was nice and helpful. The kings gate on patten ave was horrible. I had an appt at 9 but they told me to go back at 11. Then I got a call to go to the BP station on exit 18. There, the tow dolley was broken so I had to leave my car and drive the Uhaul to another location to get the tow dolley. No one was able to help me hook it up. I had to figure it out by reading the stickers. It took me hours and was a scary process. My wife didn't trust I was hooking it up safely and it caused a huge argument. I would definitely rate this as one of the worst customer service experiences of my life.

When I placed my “reservation”, no one was able to guarantee that I would actually have anything I reserved when I needed it. On the day of my pick up, I had to go to another less convenient location for pick up. I arrived to find that of the 5 things I “reserved” with Uhaul (truck, blankets, two furniture dollys, and an appliance dolly) two were not there for my pick up. I had to call Uhaul last minute and track down an appliance dolly and drive the 26’gas hog reserved truck 15 miles out of my way, just to pay and rent one at another place. The other missing item, I just simply had to do without. Once arriving at the other location I was informed that the dolly had to be returned back there. So, I had to drive all over town again just to return the stuff. As a remedy the attendant on site reduced my truck rental rate and didn’t charge me for what I didn’t get. Also, Uhaul reimbursed me the mileage only for the 15 extra miles. To add insult to the injury, as I used the truck, interior pieces were continuously falling off into the floor or on to the dash. Moving is usually a very detailed, specific, stressful, and time sensitive thing. Throw caution to the wind, spike your blood pressure, and take your time schedule and us it to hold the truck together…..rent with Uhaul!
