The location is in an industrial area however it is in an old trailer on an unpaved property. Unlike the many locations we’ve rented from in the past the location is not visible from the main road in the area, US 301.

Kling Towing & Recovery, Inc II far exceeded rental industry standards in their highly professional interactions with me as I returned a large U-Haul box truck to them after my recent 1800 mile trip from Colorado. Here is my experience: What set them apart at first was simple their telephone demeanor. When you are out on the road, and they are the destination you are looking for, the fact that they are so polite and informative on the telephone brings true peace of mind. The person I spoke with in my conversations, from hundreds of miles away, took the time needed to provide directions, to clearly describe what was needed for drop-off, and to explain the paperwork that would go along with the 1800 mile rental. The morning I got there for the drop-off and vehicle inspection, I was met by the kindest person you could imagine. She promptly dropped what she was doing and came out for the vehicle inspection and to start closing out my paperwork.. It was nothing like the other rental companies, where you have to wonder whether everything things will go well. The difference that sets Kling Towing apart was that extra effort to recognize me as a customer, and to provide the professional courtesies of taking a moment to go through the process with me. When it comes down to it, the experiences I had in turning the truck back over to her were pretty much the role model of how to do it right. U-Haul has a tremendous asset right there in there in this highly capable front desk staff. Don't let this somewhat humble location out in the country near Wildwood fool you. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for great service and complete peace of mind in vehicle rental. I have rented cars, trucks and equipment from more companies than you could imagine. I give Kling Towing & Recovery Inc II, in Wildwood, FIVE STARS as being the best, most personal and professional rental company I have ever seen.

It is a run down building with one little window on a rotten looking deck. You have to knock on the window and hope someone opens it. Very unfriendly and no social skills at all

Lady was nice and very helpful. The appliance dolly needed some repair but I was able to make it work enough and get the washer and dryer moved.

Look in the trailer and make sure you were given the extra equipment you purchased. I didn't get the Dolly I ordered and still had to pay for it what a farse!

I woke the woman attendant up. She was less than thrilled with me. She was rude, short and disrespectful. Initially she insisted that she had no room for the trailer. I offered to drop it off at AC in Wildwood which she snapped at me that they don’t take trailers. After standing there waiting on her instructions she lamented on her canker sore then snapped that we’re done! I’m disgusted!!!!

biggest problem was the bitch that called me 3 days after I had returned the trailer. she informed me that i was still in possession of it and did not care that i had returned it. apparently i returned it to the wrong place but there was NO return location on my contract. otherwise the trailer was new no problems there.

The service would have been excellent, but I used the after-hours drop-off. When I got home I went into the app to finish the process and found out I was supposed to do it from the cab of the truck when I dropped it off; there was no way around that so I got a $20 service charge added to my bill, which I certainly did not appreciate. Also, I called the Kling location the next morning to see if I could complete the check-in then. They were open, but no one picked up the phone and the voice mailbox was full. That added to my irriatation.

Even though this location is really close to my home I would not recommend using it. There was no one present at 3:30 in the afternoon, so never had the opportunity to speak with anyone. I had to use the app to return the trailer. While I was there, another customer came to pick up and was unable to do so because no was available to assist them despite having a reservation.

Employee said they were open until 5PM. We got there at 4:40 and no one was there. Office was a delapitated trailer with well worn wooden porch.

The person who checked me in was great - Kathy. But the company never answered the phone despite multiple days of calling, and the voice mail was full and not accepting messages. She was alone and did come help me hook up, but the trailer was gross and all banged up with the fender crumpled in right next to the tire. Dirty inside, and it leaked like a sieve while I was driving in the rain. No one on site when I returned at 11:am.

The staff had no appreciation for a long time client of U-Haul and wouldn't even come outside to help me a 73-year-old man to unhitch the trailer. That was disgusting and totally unprofessional. The lot was unpaved and overgrown with grass and again the staff was unprofessional. This location should be removed from U-Haul's service location!

It would have been nice to have someone there that could help hook up the trailer. I wanted to rent a 6 X 12 trailer but there was no one there that could help me hook it up. I settled for a 5 X 8. There is no one there to assist with hook up. Kathy is a nice lady, but she can only do so much.

I called 2 days prior to confirm my rental and was told that they did not have the trailer I rented and she didn't know why I was sent to them for pick up. That was a 4 X 8 trailer. I drove from IL to FL to pick up and no one was going to tell me it was not available. She had 10+ 5 X 8 trailers and didn't say anything. I had to call customer service for any help.

The location was fine but the truck itself was not. The truck was marked as inspected in March of 2023 and then broke down after 170 miles and caused me to lose an entire day of travel and to be stranded for 7 hours.

Clean trailer, not rusted or abused. Newer tires, great tread. Pulled smoothly. Nice website. Easy navigation and rental sign up. Person at pick up location was nice. Highly recommend!

It took awhile to get the u-haul. Not sure if the on-line program at facility is up-to-date... could not get proper return location. Had to enter all info 2x. And this is after I did it online in the 1st place.

The Klings location was excellent! The lady who checked me in was very helpful and professional!!! But......... This is the third location I had to drive to in order to drop off the trailer. The first location that was on my check in form no longer worked with U-Haul and the 2nd location only worked with trucks. I call Klings and the lady was very happy to take the trailer. I took me over 3 hours from leaving the house to drop off a trailer.

My husband said the drop off location in Wildwood FL was a real dump. I called the person at this location and said we are bringing the U-haul back and she said, OK, I'm here and then he got there five minutes later and there was a sign on the door that said "back in a half hour." The U-haul also leaked after rain and ruined a few of our things.

We have rented before at other locations. they were all good but this location was exceptionable. The lady who rented the trailer insisted on helping dragging it out to my camper and did the hook up for me. When I returned she was prompt in helping me check out and putting the trailer back in line. I will recommend this location to all my friends who need this service. Thanks Again Bob Hanbury
