When I made my reservation online I deliberately selected no insurance I was only towing a truck 73 miles I didn't need it was an old truck. When I showed out to pick up the trailer the system had changed my selection to adding the insurance? that's a scam U-Haul should not do that to people if I wasn't paying attention I would have had to pay for the insurance. because of the suggestive selling of the clerk I went ahead and got it but felt pressured but now I regret it because realizing that U-Haul scammed me by altering my selection after I made the reservation. The reservation when it's made online I should get a copy of all the things I checked but I don't so the U-Haul computer system is programmed to add on the insurance even though you didn't want it. If I wasn't paying attention I would not have caught it.M Adam S.

This is the only location to rent UHAULS in the area. When I originally called to place the order, it took them 3 days to respond. When I placed the order online and did the speedy check in, getting the truck still took 40 minutes.Shari G.
I dropped off during off hours, I was concerned because it was a pawn shop and I was searching for the drop box at 4 am, and it was dark, the drop box was on the opposite side of the building and behind a post.Troy E.

Did drop off before this location was open.. Little confusing at first on where the drop off box was but we located it. No real 1 on 1 interaction with anyone when returning the truck. Did go by later in the day to make sure everything was alright and person was very helpful and reassuring that everything was great.Jen Q.

I noted the sign inside the truck that I would be subject to a charge of $ 25.00 if I returned the truck dirty. I noticed the sign as I was sweeping the dirt out of the truck before I could load it.CULLY L.

My problem is not the location, it was UHauls lack of discretion and overbooking for the day in question. On August 13 I reserved a truck for pick up on August 31, late afternoon IN BRICK NJ NEAR POINT PLEASANT- I was not informed until August 30th that pick up location was moved 25 minutes away and that it closed at 1 pm, therefore forcing me to pay for a 2 day rental, since I could not possibly return the truck before 1 pm on the first, considering the move was an hour and a half away, and I had to work in the morning. The overall customer service was horrendous and an agent actually hung up on me, even though I was speaking calmly. Horrible behavior. Don't take advance reservations if you are not going to honor the customers schedule.AMY B.

The area is seedy. Junk cars, U-hauls under lock and key except the one you are picking up. It was like I was in a big city and not the township of Manchester. My wife would have been nervous if she had to pick up the truck.LUKE B.
