Thomas LandekGive cards to put in car windows when the customer parks. My car was towed because the towing company thought my car was someone going to the mosque. The people running the Uhaul were great and the equipment maintained fine.

felita dardonThis was a 5 hour drive to move. I had to drive one and a half hours one way to pick the truck up. Double G gave me some extra miles for my trouble and he was going to give me an extra day as well.I did not think I was going to need an extra day so I said no.However I got this truck back 2 hours late and I was charged for a full day.I do not think that this is fair.I went and picked this truck up in the middle of nowhere and brought it into the Chicago area where it can be put in service more. I got charged for a full day for being 2 hours late.
Patrick KennedyIt should be clearly marked where to park trucks and have the space available. Also I hated just leaving the truck sitting there out in the open (even though the driving portion is locked, there is no way to lock the trailer part so anything can happen) because even though it is 24 hour drop off they close early on saturdays so there is no help there. It just wasn’t a good location for the size truck I had even though it stated my truck could be accepted. Again, an issue with corporate as the scheduling manager told me not to trust the reviews of any U-Haul facility because they are all angry people trying to get over on the company, but when I submitted photos of the truck damage none of the photos came up on the site when I returned it.

GENE LAMMELThe cabin of the vehicle smelled strongly of cigarettes, which was very upsetting. It was raining hard so we couldn't open the windows while driving. Otherwise the vehicle was clean. There were, apparently, issues with the online 24/7 program that was being used, which I was not notified of, so it took 40 minutes for us to retrieve our vehicle. I would never recommend the 24/7 online program to ANYONE. It was absolutely terrible. I was also disappointed to find that the shop where I was picking up the truck was closed, which I was not informed of, so it was difficult to ask the questions I needed answers to. We waited on hold online as well as on the phone. I was disappointed in my experience overall. I have used U-haul many times, but this was by far the worst experience.

Gabrielle JohnsonI Received a call from the uhaul facility at 845 am on Saturday 11/3 to confirm I still wanted to rent a truck. I called back 3 minutes later and said yes still needed truck and I’d be there by 930 am. When I got to the facility there was no truck available for me. I was told all they had was a 27 footer which was no good to me since I’d be driving on city streets. Someone had changed my reservation to 930 pm. Why that was done I don’t know. I was told to drive to worth to get a truck from there. When I arrived there I could not set up a uhaul account. I called tech support and was hung up on. Finally when I called the store somebody was able to set up the new truck. I did not get my truck until 11 am. It took me an hour and a half. Not once did I receive an apology. I was furious to say the least. I would never and I mean never call a uhaul store again. It’s ridiculios that I was treated that way and was not compensated or apologized to for the huge inconvenience it caused me.
