This downtown Medford location is a little sketchy - homeless around. Also would be very helpful to have a real person at the location (including weekends) to help me through the process. The app did not function properly. It made me fill in the same things 3+ times before continuing and the costumer service phone wait times were 15minutes each time. Very frustrating. Besides all that, the box passcode lock (with the key to the truck) was jammed and took much effort to open.

There must have been an error with the booking which I take responsibility for, but when the store clerk asked if we needed a normal dolly as well as an appliance dolly we confirmed we only needed the appliance dolly, but we were still charged for both as well as other fees making our 29$ 1 hour-long, 9 mile total trip rental over 70$ after the fact.

Karra G.Half way between Medford and Lakeview Oregon, the low tire pressure warning light went on. I made it to Lakeview H-haul where they found the tires were greatly over inflated. They adjusted the pressure where it should be quickly and professionally. Very friendly there in Lakeview!
john S.The truck had a very worn-out bushing in the steering column that was making it difficult to put it into Park. The U-Haul mechanic assured me it was fine for the 3,000 mile trip I was about to start. It was not! Several times, I thought it was in Park, only to find the truck starting to roll as I got out! And one time, the truck wouldn't start, but made a clicking sound like when the battery is dead. We called for emergency service, only to find it wouldn't start because it wasn't really in Park. That meant the safety interlock was not engaged, and the truck was being prevented from starting. Once we jiggled the shifter and really got it into Park, the truck started. When I turned the truck in at my destination, I told the guy there that they should not send it out again until they fix the worn out bushing.

Even after a thorough cleaning (by me, which was disgusting), the smell of cigarette smoke was terrible throughout the drive. Sign in had multiple steps, which required a 30+ minute call to help work out the issues.
