The drop off was just dropping the keys and telling me a receipt would come by email. No questions or answers.

Michelle Massarorented a 10’ truck for $21, got there to pick it up and they charged me $38- said when reserving online, it doesn’t give the option to select mileage so they apply whatever they “estimate”. Returned the truck, then two days later i see another charge on my account for $49.50. I’ve called numerous times and just get transferred around before the line disconnects.

CARL JAMESThe automated check in systems by the time I got to the right customer service rep it was 30 minutes later an I was cold an in tears. Drop off was very hard to find the drop off box in the dark.
Sandra WeinrichMY experience was terrible. I was originally supposed to rent a U-Haul cargo van, and pick it up in Painesville, Ohio. I was moving to Fairport which is about three miles from Painesville. Then the day i was supposed to pick up the van, I get an e-mail stating that the van wasn't available at that location. I was told I would have to p[ick it up in Chesterland, Ohio , which is in the opposite direction. Then just before i was on my way to get the van in Chesterland, i received a text stating I had to pick it up at Munson Rd. in Mentor ,Ohio. Well when i got there the van wasn't available, so they let me use a truck at the same cost. I get all the way home and notice there is a combination lock on the back door of the truck. I called the place of business from where i picked up the truck, they gave me several combinations to try, none of them work. I had to go back and have them remove the lock. It stated for the inconvenience i wanted at least 5 mile deducted. because it's 59 cents per mile. And that adds up fast. I have always used U-Haul in the past for moving. this was the worst experience I've had. I would not recommend using U-Haul they are disorganized

Vincent BentonThere was only a quarter of a tank of gas in the truck I used. The people working at the store didn’t seem to be very bright. I was over charged for gas and a random cleaning charge. The truck was just as clean as it was when I got it. I will never use this business ever again.

John WardIt took 10 minutes to find a counter person then she spent thirty minutes figuring out how to check the trailer in. With my drivers license in hand and reservation couldn't comprehend who I was and said I had to get a trailer elsewhere. Finally realized what was going on. The wheel straps too short to go around stock tire from 68 jeep and popped off often.
Thomas OneilThe location was disorganized. They gave away my truck, and it took around twenty minutes for them to sort out things to get me another. And they didn't make it clear that I had to pick up my dollies, furniture covers, etc., and we had to return to get them. So I'm shaving off points. On the up-side, the staff was friendly, though, which kept this from being a one or two-star rating!
Leo WalshWheel fell off the trailer on the Ohio turnpike. Waited a solid hour and a half for the tow truck driver who was misinformed that the trailer only needed a tire. Had to have the trailer towed to my residence. Several items were damaged.

Chad StewartGave me a van with a bad battery that left me stranded. I believe they knew about this prior because they had the van running for me when I picked it up, they likely had to jump it and didn’t want to shut it off again. I had to wait for over an hour in unsafe heat for a technician to come replace it. Also the van smelled terribly of cigarette smoke and there were ashes all over the interior. They seem careless about the cleanliness or functionality and safety of the equipment.

tim sprowThe agent was super friendly and helpful. The vehicle had no windshield washer fluid and needed an oil change. I rented the vehicle for a 1200 mile trip. It was very unnerving to have the "oil change required" light come on every time I started it.
Teresa OwensThere were four people waiting at the door when Lake Erie opened and I thought there would be a wait to get the truck but there wasn't. Multiple employees helped all the customers within 15 minutes and we were all on are way. The truck was clean and ran well. I dropped off the truck after hours with the U-Haul app, put the keys in the dropbox and I was on my way within minutes.
JIM HOFFMANTruck had metal shavings in it. I did not see this till we were loading items into the truck. I was also rented a appliance dolly and it was broken.

CHERYL VINSONI was disappointed with the truck. The engine light was on the whole time and the truck didn’t drive well. Definitely needs maintenance. I have rented many trucks from this location and I won’t again in the future.

Dayna CorsiThe person at the desk was good but after hanging up with a customer felt the need to discuss her, work related, conversation with a coworker before taking care of the customers at the service desk. My interaction with her was professional. I just felt there was no need to rehash the phone call in front of customers. As far as the vehicle, I have no complaints.
