William RVehicle was not cleaned at all prior to pick up. Items from previous renter left inside cab. Sticky substance on dash and gear shift. Truck was not swept clean. The vehicle was not parked in an easily accessible location. The vehicle is loud and has acceleration problems. The vehicle had low fuel on pick up, I had to stop for fuel immediately after pick up.

bennie eNot happy because I was over charged by $39 due to not indicating it was for 24 hours but they did not give me paper because they were out of papers or ink so that threw me off and I did put more gas ⛽️ in the car over half tank.
AUGUSTINE II called to confirm. Put on hole for 11 minutes. O answer afterwards. Had to call 800 number to confirm. Truck was on empty with 12 miles untilempty. Just great that I had to go get gas picking up a rental. Was told I would have a $30 file credit. That did not happen and was charged. When I returned the truck I was told I would be charged for cleaning. I called and said truck was not clean. Owner said no big deal but when I returned the owner said rightvaway I would be charged. Truck has tons of kid toys, small rocks, dirt and other small items to trip on. Thank goodness I took pics. To top it off the brakes were very bad. Very dangerous. Still no $30 fuel credit when I was promised it would be posted by end if business day. Definitely do not recommend this location and will probably never rent from uhaul after this experience

Lesley BThe truck was very dirty when we picked it up. I had to Lysol wipe everything down including the keys to the truck. I sprayed Lysol all over the drivers seat because it was very dirty too. Other than the truck being dirty everything else was excellent.
Tiffany WExplain gas cost upfront. I had to drive back to gas station to put an 1/8 of gas in tank. Apparently, it would’ve been $34 for the missing fuel.

Angela GThe reason I was sent to this location is because the original contract location gave away the vehicle we were guaranteed to pick up. We arrived at the location and the person rudely told us they didn't have a vehicle for us and did not know what to tell us. The second location tried to charge us $2000 more than our original contract price. If I didn't have a screenshot of the price they wouldn't have honored the original price in the contract. A customer service representative told us this location changed our contract price once we arrived at that location. We spend 2 days trying to pick up the vehicle. Also one person told us on the phone said they had a military discount and then we get there and they told us there was no such thing. Terrible experience all around.

MARCUS WMake sure that the rental truck is clean before giving it to someone else I feel that I shouldn't had to clean it out all of candy paper and stuff that was in there also make sure that the gas mileage meet up with the paper that you give us a scene that's where the gas at because it was not it was less gas a whole lot of less

THOMAS JI was charged a drop of fee when i called and said i was dropping the trailer off. My phone was broke so u couldn't check it in... That's y i called and still got charged a fee!!
THOMAS JFirst of all i earlt checked in. I got there at 10am for 10am pick up. there was a lady standing at the counter literally talking about nothing for 10 minutes. there were two men filling out paperwork. after the lady left the counter I stood up the guy said wait. I told him that I already checked in and he still took the other two guys. by the time I got to the counter was 10:24am. I initially wanted to rent it for 5 hours. he told me that he would adjust it to 3:30 because that is around the time I actually got to the counter and got the key. when I got back a different guy claiming I was late tried to charge me $102. he then acted as though he didn't know what the gas was supposed to when I bought it back. he then claimed that I left trash even though I know I didn't. and to add insult to stupidity, earlier that morning I saw a mouse run by in the back room behind the counter. I shouldn't have to leave reviews telling people to videotape the mileage the whole truck the inside of the truck and to make sure that they don't get scammed because they refuse to adjust the rental time to when they finally get to the counter and get the key. despite early checking in. I think it's disgusting that a person will still make you wait then try to hustle you at the end despite claiming that they will make the adjustment. and if the $62 in which he claimed I was charged is not really what I was charged. you will have a whole nother problem.

Joyce SGentleman that rented the vehicle seemed very nice, however, service and equipment was subpar. Communication was spotty, we were given an update by text message from a personal phone, even though we had already contacted U-Haul customer service that provided us totally different information than we are now receiving from U-Haul. Totally dissatisfied.

Darlene TThis location charge me for insurance without my authorization. He did not ask me or tell me he was putting a $25.00 charge on my card until I asked him why my total $63.20 after he swiped my card. I rented a van on 09/09/2020 @ 2:00 and returned it on 09/10/2020 @ 12:30 from 14150 S. Indiana. The truck rental is $19.99 and my mileage I used was 25 miles at .69 a mile. I was told that they don't accept my personal insurance which I have full coverage with progressive. I have rented a trailer and Van's before from 71st off Stoney Island and never had any problems. I will never rent anything from that location and I will tell friends and family not to rent from that location. I filed a claim with customer service to have my $25.00 return. If I don't get satisfaction from customer service and my money isn't returned to my card my next step will be to notify BBB for deceptive practices at this location. My contract number is 99228479
