SCOTT THOMAS SIERAKOWSKIThe only problem I have is the increase rate of 32% in one month for the same exact equipment from $458 to $607.. That I rented the previous month. Before I would recommend to a friend I would tell them to check around for prices.
William BielbyWhile the representative was very kind, she did not know much about the operation of the equipment and quite clearly did not do a thorough inspection. The truck had several sensor faults, no license plate lights, front bumper falling off, and then the trailer had to be swapped out because the first one had non functional safety straps. The second one had intermittent running lights, the flip down panel was jammed shut by the previous renter and they hadn't checked its operation before letting me take it. And then UHaul promised to call me on Monday and they did not. Awful experience

MARY HOADLEY | Overall ExperienceThe remote pick up and drop off is a joke. I made the reservation and then the day I’m picking up the truck they need to approve my reservation electronically? There’s hardly any Internet service where I was picking up the truck I had to walk around the parking lot until I found one spot that worked. Truck reservation was for 1130. I didn’t get it till 1230 because of this process. I will never do this again.
Jill HubbardThe application for returning after hours is slightly buggy. I was unable to return my vehicle without getting on the phone with customer service. The check in process also flagged my partner for not returning equipment in the year 2043. I had to go to the truck facility, they had to completely restart the reservation to get around the issue and we used different alternate contacts. Outside of that everything was okay

CHERYL KEEFE | Overall ExperienceThe system for checking yourself out is antiquated - you ask for pictures and then have us fill out the forms. There is technology that would allow you to read the pictures instead of asking the customer to duplicate information. Overall it takes the customer 30 minutes checking in and out. If you really want them spending that much time doing it you should offer a discount for those who self check out.

Everything worked out perfect. Thank you Erin. I would recommend a hydraulic Jack to assist with connecting and disconnecting the 6x12 Trailer from a tow vehicle due to the Trailer’s weight.
Amvets Dept of MichiganThey didn't give me a furniture dolly and I was charged for one. Also they could have shoveled snow around truck. Walking around it to inspect it wasn't the easiest.
Erin HeekeThe enclosed trailer we rented for our move from MI to FL had water leaks throughout. When we got to Florida and started to unload the trailer, every single item was soaked! Our mattresses are ruined, TVs are ruined, sound bars had water pour out of them when I picked them up, my guns that were in soft cases are ruined. We might as well have moved everything in an open trailer.

Gary PurdomReservation is always an issue w uou guys..your people do not have a clue when renting trucks..I called to reserve a 20 ft truck and they said they had one $29 a day ..then I get a call later saying that's a one way truck but they have a 26 fter if that one is gone but it should be there..no call the day before to confirm reservation like I was told...then I get there and the lady said I don't have a 20 ft I have a 26 ft I don't know why they told you that..the previous renter musta hauled a truckload of weed cause the truck reaked of it..as did all of our clothes and stuff we moved..I was pissed about that..if I would have got pulled over and they wanted to go through all of our stuff because of that your company would have caught hell..never will I rent u haul again..what a joke..

SHERRY HERRON | Overall ExperienceNot enough lighting outside units and would be nice to have a light inside unit. Lighting was actually horrible for a storage facility. Couldn't get out through the gate one night but elizabeth was helpful and said she would rescue us if needed. Don't think gate was fixed when I moved out. Office hours normal and 10 pm access nice but later would be better. Staff was friendly. No excuse why the owner can't mantain the business better with amount of money made every month

Gary AustinI was supposed to have 2 moving dollies that did not get loaded for my after hours checkin. But i had no way through the process to find backup dollies or for compensation. Plus the u-haul app kept crashing during both checkin and checkout process.
Daniel McLeodTruck mirrors were locked into position. I couldn't adjust them out to see the lanes beside me. Had to lean out over steering wheel to see to change lanes. It looked like there were set screws that prevented moving mirrors. I was basically looking at sides of truck & about 1/4 of side lanes. BIG BLIND SPOTS! Other than that, the truck was Great!!

MARGERET HANSINGERPicking up the vehicle was a disaster the lady that rented the vehicle had no clue what she was doing took almost an hour. Then we returned the vehicle. We had a $100 dollar refund and still have yet to receive it back on our card. I have receipt of refund but never received the money yet. This has been the worst moving experience with any rental I have had. Very very unhappy.

DONNA CRONCEHad an issue that the workers on site were not able to resolve. Uhaul representatives were able to handle the issue so I definitely recommend Uhaul just not this location. Worker on site was missing when I arrived, manager called him a few times and could not get ahold of him.

Brent GilmoreThis vehicle shouldn't be on the road for service as the front end steering is all over the road. Drove it a little over 140 miles and white knuckled the entire time as the vehicle wants to wander the road. The vehicle wasn't dirty, but it was very beat up..

Lawrence MacrayEveryone I spoke with was very kind, helpful, knowledgeable, customer service-driven. Uhaul’s coordination system, however, seems to need help. My drop-off location was changed the day of the truck use. Was supposed to be one-way but was changed to rotund trip with drop-off back at original rental location. It cost me extra in gasoline, despite Trevor’s help in eliminating my being charged for extra mileage and was an undertaking on his end that could have been avoided. Trevor, however, was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Michael PattonThe unit I rented leaked and a bunch of my furniture and other items were ruined. And while I should have obtained insurance, I did not think I would have to be insured against the storage place itself. You would think for the money you pay, being dry would be one of the expectations.
WANDA LOWE | Overall ExperienceMy belongings were very dirty (severe dust & cotton seed) from using this storage unit due to units are not completely enclosed up by the ceilings. My belongings were at a different storage facility for 4 years and was alot cleaner prior to this storage facility. I believe due to open ceiling with all other units is the problem. Very nice friendly staff.
