i scheduled a truck at 10am lady at the counter said there is no one there until 12 so long story short a finally had to do it on linescott D.
Make sure A/C works prior to pickup. Wasted time bringing it home to have to return it. However, the location willingly gave us a bigger truck at the same cost as the smaller truck because that was all that was available to replace the unit with the broken A/CEric S.

Understand the details of the small print regarding fuel. The tank was empty. I was told to bring it back empty. The small print said there would be a charge if not brought back with a quarter tank - REGARGLESS if it was empty or not.MICHAEL P.
I wasn't greeted by an employee. There was no clear designated location for U-Haul customers. The gentleman that excepted my return just told me to leave the key with him and he would take care of everything and I would get an email later. Didn't seem like a well rounded experience because the return was left open ended with no receipt of return. I was luckily able to receive a return email 5 hours later.Matthew P.

The truck was filthy. Looked like soda and cigarette ashes all over the front of the vehicle. In today's covid fearing society they are lucky I am not one who freaked out and caused havoc. I could have demanded a refund and went somewhere else. I am not a confrontational person so I did not go back in the store and stand up for myself on this matter. They did not do a walk around with me,or adjust my mirrors,but in they're defense I have only had one pickup place do that with/for me and maybe its not required just an extra that the exceptional person (james) did to go above n beyond at the park blvd location. I have rented 4 trucks from u haul and will be renting another one in acouple weeks. I will refuse to pick up at the largo chevron gas station/uhaul. I forgot to mention that I had to sweep out the back of the truck before I could load all my stuff in it. I couldn't put my bed thru the piles of actual dirt. I took pictures of everything becuz I didn't want the $25 charge. Also....the 2 people I've dealt with twice in wadawee Alabama (Delores n Ronnie) are super niceALICIA B.

My recommendation is to check the battery, I managed to fulfill my objective which was to make my move, but just when I left it at the chevron gas station which is where it is located, I was filling the tank to deliver it and the battery did not work anymore. The truck had the packaging that is in the back open, with the items to be paid for outside the bag.Hernan G.

There is a uhaul self serve box outside but you have to go inside to obtain the keys. I recommend making self serve and use the code boxes outside for those of us that prefer that.Jason P.

The pick up was a hot mess and took way too long. The person didn't seem to have the right information for drop off (it was correct on line) then there were issues with their system and it took multiple times for the signature to come up and they had no paper to print out my reciept.Nancy K.

I rented a U-Haul and the tire blew and it took them 3 hours to come to me to change the tire m. The person dispatched didn't even say hello or that he was sorry it took so long. Every time I called they kept telling me another 15 minutes and 3 hours later you die coded to show up then you guys charged me the full amount... very disappointing considering I lost valuable time!!Jason P.

This location was horrible! They took over an hour to rent me the truck, the gentlemen did the contract four times coming up with a different price each time. At one point he even told me not to choose the insurance and take the option that if I got in an accident, I would pay for everything. He cursed at least six times with the â€œFâ€ word, very bad location.Debbie S.

The rudest people. At first he denied my drop off location, I argued until he agreed to take it (if he didn't take I would have charged for different drop off). He nastily told us to put gas in it and park it. We already filled it and another person there already said to leave it where it was. He finally said "you can go" without one word to us. I asked for proof of return and he sighed and rolled his eyes and printed one. I then told him I never had this much trouble returning a Uhaul and he said "take it up with customer service". My experience at this location was truly terrible. I schedule a truck share 24/7 pick up for before opening hours. I was thrilled that U-Haul would offer such a conviennent tool to make my move easy as possible. I arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled time to start the check-in process online. I received a message that I would have to wait over an hour, until the location opened to access my rental. I called the location at 8:50am and spoke to a women who said no one could help me until U-Haul opened at 10:00am. I called the U-Haul's customer support line. I waited 20 minutes to reach a representative. The representative told me it was a problem with IT and transferred me to IT. I waited another 41 minutes before finally hanging up. During this time, I also used the chat function to try to find a solution that way, with no luck. If this location is not willing to do 24/7 truck rentals, they need to remove this option. Furthermore at 10, when I went inside, the attendant was not at all sympathetic and even interrupted our transaction to sell another customer cigaretteKristen P.

Drop off was gas station. Employee wanted me to park truck. When I asked him to instead he seemed miffed. I didn't want liability of hitting anything on his lot. Check out process very slow even though very little customers at time. I had to ask for receipt. While OK, I would never go there to rent a truck when other locations much better.Terry M.

Ensure ALL employees know how to use the system. I placed a reservation, in person, received confirmation from U-haul but tow bar was not included. I went back, in person, to confirm the information, the employee couldn't find the reservation so created another one. I received a call from U-Haul asking "did I need 2 trucks?" I told him "No" so was able to correct the reservation. When I picked up the truck and asked the station to hold the trailer for a few days as I had to complete loading the truck and also needed the use of my car. I paid in full for the whole order at the time including the tow trailer. When I went in to pick up the trailer they wanted to charge me for the trailer, again. I told them I had already paid in full, but, again they could not find my order on the system. Thank goodness they did have the paperwork still in house. One thing that went Well, was after a long wait for assistance, a couple of employees came to help attach the trailer and connect the car. I would recommend this location if the employees were better informed in the use of the U-Haul system.Linda B.

The location was dirty and personnel completely unprofessional! The transport trailer was in horrible condition. I had to tighten the lug nuts and the tires had nails in them. When I called U-Haul about the situation they just blew it off. Said if you break down we'll send personnel to you. Trailer was a complete POS and service was horrible!
