When I got to the house and pulled out the ramp it was full of dirt and broken glass. On closer inspection the compartment also had broken glass, dirt, and plant debris.

This location was horrible! They took over an hour to rent me the truck, the gentlemen did the contract four times coming up with a different price each time. At one point he even told me not to choose the insurance and take the option that if I got in an accident, I would pay for everything. He cursed at least six times with the “F” word, very bad location.

My experience was good until I went to get my car and tow dolly hooked up to truck. Austin did not want to help get my car on tow dolly.. It was a very frustrating experience and I had to go off for him to do his job

The rudest people. At first he denied my drop off location, I argued until he agreed to take it (if he didn't take I would have charged for different drop off). He nastily told us to put gas in it and park it. We already filled it and another person there already said to leave it where it was. He finally said "you can go" without one word to us. I asked for proof of return and he sighed and rolled his eyes and printed one. I then told him I never had this much trouble returning a Uhaul and he said "take it up with customer service". Do Not deal with him!!

My experience at this location was truly terrible. I schedule a truck share 24/7 pick up for before opening hours. I was thrilled that U-Haul would offer such a conviennent tool to make my move easy as possible. I arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled time to start the check-in process online. I received a message that I would have to wait over an hour, until the location opened to access my rental. I called the location at 8:50am and spoke to a women who said no one could help me until U-Haul opened at 10:00am. I called the U-Haul’s customer support line. I waited 20 minutes to reach a representative. The representative told me it was a problem with IT and transferred me to IT. I waited another 41 minutes before finally hanging up. During this time, I also used the chat function to try to find a solution that way, with no luck. If this location is not willing to do 24/7 truck rentals, they need to remove this option. Furthermore at 10, when I went inside, the attendant was not at all sympathetic and even interrupted our transaction to sell another customer cigarette

I had a reservation at Tropicana UHaul, but they inadvertently Canceled it 7 hours before my pickup time without letting me know (I was NOT late). I had to waste a lot of time, and go 5 miles further to get the truck I had reserved. I was quite upset!

Drop off was gas station. Employee wanted me to park truck. When I asked him to instead he seemed miffed. I didn't want liability of hitting anything on his lot. Check out process very slow even though very little customers at time. I had to ask for receipt. While OK, I would never go there to rent a truck when other locations much better.

Ensure ALL employees know how to use the system. I placed a reservation, in person, received confirmation from U-haul but tow bar was not included. I went back, in person, to confirm the information, the employee couldn't find the reservation so created another one. I received a call from U-Haul asking "did I need 2 trucks?" I told him "No" so was able to correct the reservation. When I picked up the truck and asked the station to hold the trailer for a few days as I had to complete loading the truck and also needed the use of my car. I paid in full for the whole order at the time including the tow trailer. When I went in to pick up the trailer they wanted to charge me for the trailer, again. I told them I had already paid in full, but, again they could not find my order on the system. Thank goodness they did have the paperwork still in house. One thing that went Well, was after a long wait for assistance, a couple of employees came to help attach the trailer and connect the car. I would recommend this location if the employees were better informed in the use of the U-Haul system.

The location was dirty and personnel completely unprofessional! The transport trailer was in horrible condition. I had to tighten the lug nuts and the tires had nails in them. When I called U-Haul about the situation they just blew it off. Said if you break down we’ll send personnel to you. Trailer was a complete POS and service was horrible! Will never do business with uhaul again!

There was confusion on site. I made arrangements for mobile pickup at 8am. There was an issue with the remote box access. I spoke to clerk at chevron and she was afraid to call owner due to his not wanting calls before 10am. She said I would have to wait 2 hours until she would call him. When I finally got the box accessed the key was not inside. I went back into the chevron and same clerk said “it is always like this when people order on line. We never know about the truck order”. Another store clerk saw the truck key inside the store and was ready to give to me but the first clerk said “no” and that I would have to wait for the store owner to come in (another hour and a half later from my reservation time). I asked her to please call the owner to release my key and she refused. Finally, another clerk called and my key was released. This store seems to have confusion on the procedure for mobile pick up and the clerks are not trained properly to handle. Due to this inactivity by the clerk I was late in my work for the day and behind schedule.

The manager saved my day. The movers that I had arranged to move an elderly veteran did not show. I really had doubts that I could find a truck on such short notice. This man was an angel! My heartfelt thanks to him and Uhaul.

The employees were rude and were speaking a different language and obviously talking about me and my rental return. Then, they demanded that I wash the outside of the truck that was somewhat dirty when I picked it up. They need some training in customer service in my opinion.

The person that waited on me was very rude. He said his name was Bob. He didn't greet me when I walked into the store and acted like I was a bother the whole time. He barely said anything to me and never smiled at all. He waited on me then proceeded to wait on other customers while I was waiting to get the vehicle returned (while being on my lunch break). He even told one customer that he had to go outside to "deal" with me. Very unprofessional. I wouldn't have him working the gas station let along the U-Haul business. I will never use this facility again!

It is more of a food mart/gas station. did not notice U-Haul signage or U-Haul equipment, I had to go inside and ask if I was at the right place.

The service was really bad, I always rent from UHAUL but I have never experiences such a bad service. This is my first time dealing with the chevron location and I am definitely sure it will be my last. I got over charged with miles and gas. Unbelievable people and dishonest.

Truck was not available where I reserved one. Had to come here. Truck was late getting there and took another 45 minutes to process and check out. Was told I was able to return to the other location and I wasn't. I was told upon returning it to the other location that this one owned the truck and I'd be charged double. So I had to drive even more and fight for a credit for the additional mileage that I had not planned on. Truck was dirty and reaked of smoke

My complaint is more with the whole way that my reservation was handled. I understand that anything is really reserved until they called you the day before but the way everything was handled was very bad. I made a reservation for a Van and a location in Tampa. I was coming to town and wanted something closer to the airport. When I got called to confirm, I was told not only I would not have the van, the location was far. They told me that location was the only one that had a truck available and that it was not even the Van. I asked if no locations closer to Largo or Tampa had had a van, I was told that even though they had the van available they will not give it to me because they want to leave the van for in-town rentals. If this was true, why have it available for one-way trip anyways? They should remove it, like the pick-ups. They moved my location 3 times after that until I was assigned this location and a 10' truck, not the van. When I arrived at the location, only my reservation number was there, all the drop-off info and everything that already entered online was gone. The poor guy who was helping me was also in charge of a Gas station. It took him almost 45min to give my truck + dolly. Even the drop-off was changed, but at that point, I just wanted to have something to move my things. While I was waiting for my truck, another location called that they were waiting for me for my reservation. I had to reservations at the same time for some reason, even though the last email I got was with this location. Again, this complaint is more about the whole situation not only this particular location

Hadn’t been in for a maintenance evaluation, didn’t have windshield washer fluid, a quarter of a tank of gas for a long trip, across country, one way, the truck sounded aweful noise wise, the head lights were looking to the right and unbalanced, causing it to be not driven at night, Rover charged me on a prepaid bill, and didn’t check out the vehicle, plus 45 mins late.

I have rented from three different uhaul facilities in the last month and returned to different facilities without issue except when it came to this facility which was going to triple my rate when I wanted to return trailer to another facility 100 Miles away & never once offered to help hook anything up, inspect anything to make sure it was working or clean. And by all means do not interrupt the business of their conscience store. Please step to the side and they will take care of you when hey get to you......

Scheduled to pick the U-Haul up at 9, got there at 9 and went inside and the lady told me the owner doesn’t get there until around 10. Then we were given a 24 hour help line to get a vehicle assigned to us and I called about 5 times and got no answer and no call back. Finally picked the truck up at 1/4 till 10.

This is a convenience store. The guy wasn't very helpful. He didn't offer to help me hitch up. He just took my credit card and pointed to the trailer. It was very clear nvenient to pick up here.

Arriving the person working behind the counter said they had no room for the trailer. When I informed him that I had already parked and chocked the trailer his attitude changed. Then all things became pleasant.

The u haul was dirty empty bottles in cab,cup holders had sticky stuff in it .I have rented u haul before and never had this problem. Having to move my kids from there house due to the hurricane we had and then to get a nasty u haul just wasn't very nice .I cleaned it my stuff.It was just a bad experience.

the location is a convenience store and the person was constantly leaving me to sell cigarettes and other things, He made a mistake and charged me for insurance that i probably won't get the refund he said I would. Had to do the hook up alone, without conformation that it was done right.

First the location charged me double because of a computer glitch that happened in the store, which I understand, things happen. The $191 was charged twice, then on top of that, they charged me for insurance I didn't ask for. I had a family emergency 1000 miles away and had to get there fast. I didn't notice the charge until I tried to fill up with gas and my card was declined because I was over charged $255 from uhaul. I called uhaul customer service to see when I could get the money back because I needed gas to finish my trip. The first person said 5-7 days. UNACCEPTABLE. THE second person said 3 days, I explained to them it wasn't my fault that they over charged me and I needed my money ASAP to complete my trip. The 3rd person actually apologized and said the money will be back on my card in a couple of hours. FALSE , I waited 2 days in the middle of no where, stuck in the country with no money for gas because of a computer glitch that wasn't my fault. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. ON TOP OF THAT THEY OFFERED me $30 as a refund. Highly upset and irate, that a fortune 500 company can't take care of their customers better. I would have at least settled for a complete refund, instesd i got a smack in the face with a $30 credit. ill never use uhaul again. I would expect a call back on this matter.

I trailer boats and trailers all the time. The staff at this location didn't know what size ball it needed or even how to assist with hooking it up. Did it myself and know how, but wouldn't feel safe knowing somebody else who isn't asfamiliar with towing is out on the road.

I was charged for 1/4 tank of fuel when I only went eight miles. The clerk admitted this was unusual, but stated that he didn't want to pay for the mistake, so I was on the hook. I can't help but wonder if half the problem wasn't that I was waited on by the owners jeuvenile son. I even took a photo of the fuel gauge at the beginning of the rental, but they wouldn't hear it.

This first off is a Chevron gas station. The Caucasion Guy who does the uhaul has a personality of a flea. Seriously unhappy people make unhappy customers. He should be grateful he has a job. The other issue I had is the check in and check out area has multiple glass cases of glass bongs. You have about 8inch of space on the counter. Oh I'm sorry as He so kindly put it glass tobacco pipes theyre not bongs and pot pipes. Oh not really they are but for legal purposes tobacco pipes and not to far away you have a display of ky jelly and arousal gels. The only thing missing are the girly magazines. Bad for uhaul great for Chevron your image is being tarnished. Definitely not something I expected when I made my reservation.

The guy was late to meet me, computer wasn't working properly, let me leave with the truck without doing a walk around, called me later on saying my card was declined even though a charge was clearly shown, called my credit card company they said he tried to charge more then once so it was declined after the first went through, he set me up to return at a completely different location, called him to let him know he had an attitude then called him to let him know hitch king was closed he told me to bring it back to him I refused so he told me I would have to call and find somewhere open, I left the key in the hitch king after hours box. Uhaul customer service was excellent when I called to let her know about this, but the man at chevron shouldn't be in business. He was horrible.

This location is a gas station/grocery. There was only one person working. There was no one there to help me attached the trailer.Luckily there was a delivery person that helped me attach the trailer to my truck. No one verified that it was attached correctly or if my lights worked. I would not rent from them again.

Fix the tire that's about to blow out. It has a busted belt in the tire and I told the guy he looked at me like an I'm an idiot. Then a $8 dollar charge for gas when I already put in $5 which is more than what I used when the price of gas is only 1.89 except for this place it's 1.99. Never again will I go to this store.

It took 30 minutes to get rental and I was the person there. They do not hook up the trailer and they didn't provide the pig tale for the lights, so I had no lights. Second time that I tried renting with uhaul.com. Never again I will contact the location directly from now on.

The owners of the Chevron Gas Station in Largo FL on Seminole Blvd. tried to charge me twice. The employee of the has station sent me to a Corporate Uhaul Dealer because he didn't know what to do when I showed him my bank account demonstrated I paid the samw amount on Friday.

It took an hour to get our truck. I purchased a gift certificate through UHaul online. The location said our gift card was not valid so they did not honor it. I called 1800 GO UHAUL to figure it out, the guy on the phone assured me that it would be settled by the time we returned the truck. It was not. I now have to wait until Monday now to get this sorted out as today is Sunday, to again to attempt to fix the problem. The location has a kid, a child at the register. This location is not professional at all.

I came in for a 10 foot truck, $19.95. I was told that only a 15 foot was available but I still only pay $19.95 as the prices were the same. When I returned the truck the man who rented the truck to me was not there. I was told the price was $29.95 and that there wasn't anything he could do for me. Also there were other charges that I was not informed of before I rented. I Will never rent from there again.

I went in the first time and I agreed to only the $40.00 charge I estimated 30 miles at the most this took the young man quiet a while tos do and I was getting tired of waiting. When I came 2nd to get the key due to it was already reservered the man did everything over and did not explain the extra charges. I let them know everything was already done this took MORE extra time. This was futal. He did not want to listen and was teaching his child how to run the register? Very disappointed how things are handled here. I was never told about the soft move charges for $28.00 I was told insurance was $14.00. I declined it cause I have my own insurance. Which it $14 or $28 ? Also when I turned the key the guy said his system was down and I never got a receipt what I was going to be charged. To my surprise It was $98.00. That all was for 24 miles. Last time I went to Oldsmar and Palm Harbor I could see that charge for $98.00 but this really? Something needs to be done!!!
