I can't think of anything other than the uhaul app needs some updates. Deleted app and using website.

This return was the worst experience i've ever had with uhaul and I do rent fairly often

Ander JHave people at the location. I walked next door hoping to find information of whereabouts of employees and was told they are never there. No internet service. called uhaul and was told to log in on account for lock box code that they would not give over the phone. Had to drive 30 more miles to get wifi then got code. I was 6 hours behind schedule when I got the truck back to Elkton Virginia where I made the reservation and needed the truck but instead I drove 100 plus miles counting finding wifi one way. I ended up driving over 200 miles extra round trip after driving 12 hours all night to reach Elkton Virginia. Not happy with the costomer service and feel monetary restotution should be made. The truck over all was great but my bloodpressure was out the roof. I feel that if you are going to rent trucks from that location then there needs to be someone there when needed. I was there at 10A.M. so no excuses for not being there. I hope this reaches corporate office as somthing should be done.

RODERICKHOWARD TI returned the U-Haul truck to this location on November 22nd and the establishment was closed until November 24th. I dropped the keys and contract in their drop-off box and left the truck secured on their lot. This is a very professional and family atmosphere establishment, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Belinda BThe Uhaul App was very cumbersome and hanging up. The App required more information, pictures and steps than my current home refinance. It took an hour and a half just to get the truck. When returning the truck in person, the process was smooth and professional and we were in and out. The location and management were great but the uhual app was horrible.

He was proactive in letting me know uhaul had changed my pickup location - which was so much farther away than expected - and he worked with me on how to do my pickup with as little stress as possible. Amazing - because calling uhaul itself was useless.
Carole SThe place was not open when I dropped off but the drop box was easy to find. The only thing I would suggest, this location is a in a dead spot for cell reception. Since uhaul is forcing the self checkout, they should be providing a way for customers to access the internet and do self checkout correctly. I had to improvise to get it to work so I wasn't charged extra.

He helped me swap out multiple trailers and also help me extend my reservation due to a family emergency and was just overall incredibly helpfulduring this crazy time!

Janet SWe rented a 26' truck and found out once underway (and too late to make a change) that the back lights on the truck and all of those around the perimeter of the cargo section did not work. We had to drive in the dark and rain on a busy major highway with a lot of traffic and it was unnerving not to have these lights working. The manager at the drop off location said it was probably a bad fuse. This should've been checked before we left with the truck.

james vReserved trailer at Wards Plaza, Winchester, VA. No one was there to check out the trailer. Rep just left, even though it was normal business hours. Left everyone hanging. Five other customers were also waiting. Had to call the fleet management number to try to find another dealer nearby to transfer the reservation. An hour on the phone. Finally had to drive 30 min away and start reservation from scratch. Would not honor original quote. Had to pay an additional $60 for the privilege of wasting two hours and my gas. Missed my timeline to pick up furniture, now have to rent another trailer to finish the move. I have had good service from U-Haul in the past and have done business many times, but this experience has changed my perspective, all because an employee just decided to up and leave during normal business hours.
