I reserved a furniture dolly with my vehicle rental and this site did not have ANY furniture dollies available when I picked up my vehicle. The reason for renting this vehicle was to move furniture so I had to find a furniture dolly elsewhere to use for this move.Joseph C.

Not the fault of the location. I tried to rent the van from Perrineville road, which is right down the road from my home. I was moved to this location, which ended up costing me about $15 in extra mileage costs. I know this is good for UHaul,but not for the consumer. the Gatzmer location was great...Woman there was pleasant and friendly. Store was clean ...Mark R.
I had originally booked a truck online and was given a pick up time of 10:30am at the Life storage at Monmouth Junction even though the location opened at 8:30am, I showed up to pick it up and was told there was nothing available for me. I had to call U-Haul and wait 20 minutes to speak to someone, I explain the issue and was told that online somewhere it said that there was no vehicle available for me but that someone would call me at 10am. At this point it was almost 11am and no one had reached out, Plus I didn't understand why my credit card information was taken down. The customer service rep kept saying it was for the reservation even though there was no reservation because apparently I was told there was nothing available. Even if this information was given to me it clearly wasn't obvious enough because I really believe they still had a reservation and I had put my credit card down towards that. Luckily the worker at this life storage location was able to contact the Jamesburg location for me while I spoke to U-Haul and helped reserve a vehicle for me. When I finally got to Jamesburg the employee was very friendly and understanding and made it very easy for me to book the vehicle. I would only rent another U-Haul from the employees at Life storage because they were so helpful. The U-Haul website is confusing and does not make it clear that you're not actually reserving anything, no one ever got back to me so if I would've been waiting on that I would've been waiting all day, The rep I called was condescending even though the policy made no sense, The only saving grace was when I had to extend my rental every single time I spoke to someone they were very friendly and helpful even if it took almost 25 minutes of hold time to get to them.Delsy C.

The gentelman who helped me was first rate ! From calling me back on Sunday ( I had left a message about 4pm requesting a van rental for Monday and every other nearby location was already closed ) to calling me shortly after I had returned the van to let me know I had left my back support brace in the back of the van , he couldn't have been more helpful , a real nice guy ! The website is awful. I was supposed to pick up the van when the location was closed. but fortunately the van was available the day before and I picked it up when a person was there. With all that had to be done, I never could have done it by myself. In addition I paid for 65 miles. I used 52 and was charged for 2 miles or 80 cents. I have no idea why and I wasn't going to argue but your system is sloppy and inaccurateGary W.

The truck was dirty and stunk inside. Uhaul has to many restrictions on rentals. If im paying $40 and .99 cents a mile I should be entitled to keep the truck for 24 hours and not be rushed to bring it back.. Also you should have many more dealers who have one way trucks.Carlos M.

The only thing that was disappointing was the website said the office on Saturday closed at 5:30 PM, but sign in the window said the business closed at 5:00 PM. Thus arrived to drop off the truck and nobody there. Fortunately I was able to drop it off using my smart phone.William H.
