When I picked up the truck the rear tires didn't have hardly any air in them, so I took the truck to another location on main street and they told since I didn't rent at there location they didn't want to put air in my tires and I had to beg them to put air the tires, and there was 5 guys standing around doing nothing, what a shame to treat a customer this way. They didn't come out to check the vehicle mileage or the gas gauge just said they'll send the receipt. The receipt showed the gas was lower than what I thought it was and charged and extra $45 for refuelingMICHAEL P.

The license plate didn't match up to dmv or something and it caused me over an hour and a half of grief from the Mesa Police Department accusing me of possibly stealing the truck. Not to mention the check engine light came on in the first ten miles of me driving it. Won't be renting from this place again.Marissa M.

Was supposed to drop off at a rental center. Nobody there, with no directions for a drop off or a place to safely put the key. Called Lyndsay Hardware and he had me bring it there. I was just taking it to Mesa as a favor for U-Haul. Could have dropped it down the street from me.DAVID H.

The truck was damaged when we picked it up and there were no stickers on the damaged areas. We had to request for the store owner to mark where the damage was because it was not already done. There was trash inside the truck, and it smelled like someone had been smoking marijuana in the cab. The truck was also nearly out of fuel when I picked it up, the first thing I had to do was fuel up.Isaiah H.

I took a picture when I got into the truck of everything including miles and my drop off time was around 945pm around there but I got there to drop off the truck around 9pm so I was early and when I went to return it because the store was already closed so I did a self return and went to put the miles it says that the miles I have put are to low then when I got it which is inaccurate because I put the miles it said the odometer and enter it and it said the same thing so I was there for awhile and I called the customer service line and I was waiting for 13 minutes maybe more until someone helped me but I shouldn't be charged more then what I spent . And I had to take my kids to school early morning and my husband had work early it really took our time out it wasted it when it should've been easy to returnHERMENEGILDA M.

Issues with pickups didn't work and than had to come back. It was a huge mess and never received call backs that were promised from customer service. Never again will I rent with u-haul and I will leave a google reviewJoshua B.
The Lindsay location was great in helping us finally get our truck. Our experience on the day of pickup prior to that location was extremely (and I can't stress this enough) poor. We never received a call the night before so we were not told of our pick up being a different location than requested. I attempted to call u-haul to confirm and it would have been a 30 minute wait, so we drove there instead. Once we got to the requested location, we were directed to a 2nd location which wasn't where our reservation was. The gal at the second location finally directed to the Lindsay pickup location, which was miles west of where we needed to pick up our items. This cost us way more time and gas then anticipated. Moving is already stressful enough. I didn't pay this much money to be given the run around and have to do their jobs to hunt down my reservation. On top of it, everyone gets to shrug off responsibility because they weren't the ones that should have called us. I've never had this bad of experience with u-haul but it has made me rethink a different moving service in the future due to this lack of service and affordability.BRADLEY B.
