The head lights on the truck need to be cleaned or replaced. We could not use it after dark. Very dim lights unsafe. I could not see anyone driving it long distance at night.

I have rented several different trucks, from several different locations, since beginning to move in August. This is by far, the best location/customer service. This was the only employee that physically went out with me to the truck to verify gasoline readings and mileage. Also provided me with a Uhaul pamphlet and printed contract. Check in was very fast. I will definitely go here again.

I walked in and spoke with a young Asian man who did not seem to be interested and I explained that I was returning the trailer and he just sat there and said for me to disconnect the trailer myself and place it next to another trailer. I could not get the trailer off so I went back in and another guy came out and helped me with the trailer. He was very helpful but the first guy was very rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend anyone one to go there if the first guy is there.

I reserved a 6x12 enclosed trailer from your Haslet location from a guy named Hedro. When I showed up for my trailer, he didn’t have it. Said he rented it out to a walk in on Wednesday, which is funny, because he told me I couldn’t pick up the trailer until Saturday because he wasn’t going to have it until Friday night or Saturday morning. He was extremely rude and was very surprised that I was upset that the trailer I reserved was given to someone else. He then said to me that I should have called him before I went to his place of business, to make sure he had it. I told him as a customer, he should have called me and told me he didn’t have the trailer and should have found me another one. The trailer was actually at the Golden Triangle location and when I got there, there were 2 people in front of me that were going through my same ordeal. This location gave away a reserved trailer and a reserved 20’ truck that these 2 gentlemen had reserved. Both of your UHaul contractors said that it is UHaul policy to rent out reserved equipment if a walk in comes in prior to the actual person that reserved the equipment. If that is true, shame on you. This ordeal added 2 and a half hours to my day, which I will never get back. This will be the last time I use UHaul. Be better!

When I picked up the truck the driver’s side mirror was broken. So I had to keep my hand out the window while driving to hold the mirror in place to be able to see the vehicles on the side of me. Then the truck battery died. I called the location and no one responded. So I was able to complete my move on time. So I was charged for an extra day. I don’t think it’s fair. I call the location yesterday about the charges. They said I would need to contact customer service.

The truck was dirty inside, the check engine light was on as well. The location personnel didn't really seem to want to be bothered with any part of the truck rental process. All the paperwork was completed, and handed me the keys. No inspection or showing of anything with the truck was done by the location prior to me leaving. Upon return of the truck, he didn't seem to want to be bothered checking the truck back in. I basically turned the keys in, and that was it. No inspection by the location or check in process was done. It wasn't until I already left the location and called customer service, was I aware there was an online check in process for the truck. I called customer service in hopes they could document something, so that way the location couldn't make up an odometer reading on the truck instead of verifying it with me when I checked it back in.

This location is very near my house, and also where I was moving my Dad into a senior living center nearby. A very minor inconvenience was the dried dust on the mirrors and the windshield, but we had had a recent rain and dust storm and they had some windex to quickly clean the mirrors.
Check out and check in was easy. I had the truck (15 ft. With built in ramp) for about 4 hours. The truck was easy to drive and the ramp worked well and was easy to lower and replace into the truck.
The cost was $62 with the extra insurance included. (So much cheaper than hiring movers).
I will use this U-Haul location again, if necessary.

Absolutely Love this location! Wayne Nguyen has always taken very good care of me. The time I call in to the time I arrive I feel like I’m at 5 Star business all the way to the time I bring it back!! He does it all for me and explains everything on how to use certain things I don’t know how to use very thoroughly! Appreciate it Wayne! Will always use your location as long as you’re still there!!

These guys are great! They helped me out with a late minute storage need and a truck. I rented 2 storage units and rented a truck 4 different times, never a problem. Awesome over all expirence, would not hesitate to use in the future for truck or storage rental need.
