The person I talked to from this location (I'm gonna call her Patty??) Was exceptional. And completely understanding of my issues with the vehicle. Hopefully this vehicle was not rented to another family as I explained the entire situation to her. She was fully understanding and very willing to help in any capacity she was able to. Would recommend her again and this location but that truck needs to be seriously looked at or decommissioned.

This facility is great - but Uhaul overall needs to lower their pricing. To say it's $20 for a truck for 24 hours, and really for only 3 hours it comes out to over $100 not including gas that's a scam.

The only thing Uhaul ca do improve service it to provide service only with Uhaul corporate locations. These third party affiliates or dealers are terrible. The best things that came out of Uhaul and the only reason I still rent with Uhaul is because of the scheduling team for my zipcode. The best customer service I have ever received is from Mr. Ruben Alequin. Mr. Alequin telephone side manners are above and beyond I reserved Uhaul for later this month gain just because of him and the fact that Uhaul is opening a corporate location in Spring Creek 18031. Please promote Mr. Alequin because his calm expertise to resolve any matter in a frication of friction without providing negative feedback is refreshing. He needs to be promoted but also stay in my local area scheduling office until I move (LOL). When he's no longer there I will be renting my trucks from another competitor that how much I love his service. Best to whomever read this and do your job by elevate his gentleman to the next level because he is the main reason for Uhaul getting its coins on our side of the zip code.

The lady at the front counter was very nice but the truck was not ready when I arrived. I had to clean it off from the recent snow storm. Then when my kid got in on the passenger side she sliced her hand open badly on glass from a recent Broken windshield that we was not made aware off. There was glass shards all over the inside of the truck.

Make sure the tires aren't bald and the wipers are replaced. I needed to move my son and his wife into their new home yesterday during a snowstorm and the fact that the wipers were junk and the tires were bald on the particular truck they gave me was unacceptable to say the least. I've rented with Uhaul before, however, will have to rethink my decision if I ever am in need of moving again. Not happy with the particular truck given to me in the weather we were expecting. Very unsafe!

Have the truck ready on time not 30 minutes later. I had to make a 30 minute drive over to the location the day before I rented the truck. This was because u-Haul texted me asked me to call and they said they didn’t have a truck for me at that location. I was promised the week before when I made the reservation they would have a 20 foot truck for me that day. I had to drive over to the location because you either don’t get a call back after you leave a message. Or they get back to you 24 hours later. This is on a work day Monday through Friday. I have used U-Haul in the past. But this time it was a big disappointment.

Peggy from the location was wonderful however, our truck leaked and I lost 3 mattresses, and my fancy bedroom furniture. When trying to reach out to the regional manager nothing was done. Insurance was purchased for the truck. After moving into our new home, we needed to sleep on the couch since our mattresses were flooded. The next day we needed to go by new mattresses and that was not an expense that we were expecting.

Peggy and staff were, and are, WONDERFUL - truly dedicated to customer service and satisfaction. As expected, I had some technical difficulty with the My UHaul app/website functioning properly in order to to an after-hours pick-up. Thank goodness Peggy had me all set up, which greatly helped get through the technical issue on a very cold, early morning pick-up. Also a shout-out to Valerie at UHaul who assisted remotely that morning and together, we got through the problem. I HIGHLY recommend this location for anyone needing a UHaul vehicle backed 110% by staff who are happy to accommodate customers above and beyond the call of duty.

The windshield wiper was not cleaning the window properly and it was raining very hard. This, it was difficult to see while driving. The dolly wasn’t hooked in when I got the truck so I got charged for a dolly I didn’t use.

Peggy and the team at lower macungie were great. Can't reccomended her enough. I originally booked with the meineke on chestnut street in Emmaus, and we were very unhappy with the lack of customer service my fiance and I received from the man working. I showed him my confirmed rental agreement and he rudely told me, "That's not my problem, call Uhaul" because somehow he had overlapping appointments for the same truck. Luckily Peggy came to the rescue with an almost brand new truck for me almost immediately and oly a few miles further than my original plan. I hope to be reimbursed for the additional miles and an apology would be nice for the inconvenience this caused my family during a hectic time of year.

Great customer service. Pick up (during business hours) was friendly and efficient. They made sure I had all the info I needed and knew how to contact someone if I needed assistance later. I returned the van after hours so used the mobile app and it was quick and easy. The van was easy to drive but made clunking sounds when turning and shifting…probably normal for an empty or lightly loaded cargo van but a bit unnerving for a “newby”. Overall very good experience.

Be sure when you send them to a location it doesn't have a coming soon sign on it at 8:30 in the morning also I was given 40 free miles and was charged for 67 Miles when in fact I was only supposed to be charged for 27

Moved out of unit 2 days PRIOR to end of my monthly term and was charged for 3 days worth of me not having anything on or in your property. How can someone come and sign out of unit when we both work same hours. Had to go into work late day of and employee didn’t show up till 9:15 am when facility says opens at 900. Not happy and hopefully you take care of these issues. Oh I also called next day you were open spoke with new younger gentleman whom stated I OWED NOTHING but got charged for 3 days of having nothing there.

Cigarette was left in the truck when picked up. Ordered a 15ft truck but was only given a 10ft. Evidently I was contacted about this yet that never actually happened. I had issues with uhaul last time I used their service and the streak continued this time. Overall very poor customer service.

I was a long term customer at the Lower Macunige Facility, about 14 years! For the most part the property was well maintained and clean however on the rare occasion when there was an issue or damage, the repair timeframe was long and inconvenient to the tenant if they had to access your unit. The reason I ultimately moved to a new storage facility was because over the last 2 years my rental rate has increased 4 times for a total of $74 which was almost half of the monthly rate from when I signed the contract for my new unit 3 years ago. While I understand rental rate increases are normal, that drastic of a price increase was just not acceptable form me.
