The equipment was exactly what I needed, but the customer service on-sight was the worst quality I have experienced. At pick-up, the person at the counter told me she could not help me and told me I had to use the app. And upon return, the rep told me I was “screwed” for using the app and would likely be charged two extra days. Not great.

I originally had scheduled a truck at a location close to where I needed to go. I got to the location and they told me they didn't have a truck for me. He called am office and they said they had changed my pickup location and it was a 20 minute drive. I tried to call the location 3 times and their vm was full. I called the number on my reservation to speak to someone in the office but she said she couldn't see my reservation as she was on the other side of the state I Pinellas County but she transferred me to someone who could see the reservation but she couldn't contact them either. (Couldn't find location) A hour later than my start time I found the location and I asked her for the truck and she just handed the phone to me with a man on the other end. He said I put my license on the website so I was good to go. I asked the woman at the counter to come out and verify condition, mileage and fuel level and she said to fill it to where it is and disengaged. I went out to filthy truck and took a picture of the dashboard for mileage and fuel. I drove a total of about 25 miles and put 4 gallons of gas in and returned the truck. I again asked he to come out and check the truck and she said no. Then I got my invoice and they charged me for 5 additional Gallons of fuel which is impossible. I suspect that fuel (which they sell) went in someone's car. I will dispute the fuel portion with my credit card company. Terrible experience, never again.

I’ve leased U-Haul trucks many times in the past, and one other time at this location. The attendant there kept me waiting until she could contact a superior, on the phone, which took several tries and 10 minutes until he finally answered and gave permission to her to give me the keys. Like the last time I at leased at this location, no inspection was done of the track for damage, etc. The same female attendant was not friendly and did not seem to care one way or the other concerning my rental. If I have a future need for a U-Haul truck, I will do so at one of the other locations in Vero Beach. Thank you, Joe Del Campo

Almost drove by this hole in the wall deli/quick stop store and you would never even know it was a U haul drop off place outside of the 1 u haul truck parked in the grass behind the building and a sign on the backside of the building that is only noticeable driving from South to north

No customer service skills. I waited over 1 hr to get truck and then they didn't have all the equipment I ordered with truck. They changed my order. I have rented from Uhaul for a very long time, and this experience will make need reconsider the next time, if there is one very dissatisfy.

Gas amount was not accurate, it was below the 1/2 mark. There should be a step to verify gas, I didn’t know until after I rented and had the keys. I didn’t want any issues, so I put the extra gas in to bring it up to the what the contract said.

I had to speak with someone with a strong accent over a poor quality telephone to complete my reservation that was already paid for. I literally had to have my wife complete the transaction as I could not decipher what the person on the other end of the phone line was saying. I will never return to this location. I can’t.

Overcharged again. Gas was incorrectly shown at 1/2 tank according to a document I received after I left with the truck. I took pictures of the gas and odometer as I have been overcharged in the past. There was an initial charge of $186.15 on my card. According to the contract figures, I should have a credit of $19.28. Instead, I get a second charge of $58.81. Now the credit needs to be $78.09. Please fix this.

The truck I rented didn't have a working driver seat and the person renting it to me said there was nothing she could do so I had to use some items to prop me forward so I could reach the break pedal. Then when I opened the box of the truck I had to kill a cocaroch running across the floor and the box smelled like it had not been cleaned in a long time. I also took pictures of the miles and fuel gage and spoke to the person about the the fact that there was only 3/4 of a tank of gas and not 7/8 as indicated on the contract she also said there was nothing she could do so I was billed for gas I didn't use , the truck ran well I doubt it had any thing to do with the place I rented it from.

Charged me $25 fuel surcharge claimed fuel was just above half. False. Roof of truck leaked in multiple areas. Over grandma’s attic, in the center and on the left side in the front third and rear third. My electronic equipment got wet.

Two main issues: 1. Rainy season here in FL. This trucks roof leaked huge amounts of water. It had been repaired but turning on a hose would have shown the problem easily. Boxes were destroyed, had to extend rental repeatedly as we lost so much time. 2. This location has no reasonable means to communicate. Mailbox full and never anyone available when we tried to communicate. U haul system was also down for 6 hours at one point so wasted huge amounts of time given lack of availability. Their ratings on reviews are low for a reason....

It’s a gas station , they don’t check the truck and equipment . You hand them the key and there to no receipt . The clerk was clueless.., They charged me for extra day which was not the case. They made a billing mistake not just once but twice. I’m still waiting for a refund …

The truck was given to me with a1/4 tank of gas. The rep could not get my card information right. I caught with them for 1.5 hours to be able to get the truck and I registered on a 24/7 pick up. I returned the truck at 830 pm the next day. When I rented it at 730pm the prior day and they charged me for a whole day. I will not rent from U Haul again because of these issues. If you look in your records. I rent a lot and this the last time

Every time I rent a Truck from this location, the gas tank is almost empty, so you have to spend money to fill up, but does not know how much you will use, and put more than you really are going to use.

I filled up the tank about a quarter of a tank over. When I got to the register to hand the key in, the clerk looked at me and asked if the gas was where it was when I picked it up, I nodded yes and began to say it actually is a little over. however he intwrupted me and said "see ya later". I was in a hurry and there was a line behind me, which I didnt wangt to hold up so I just left. HE didnt come out to inspect it or anything. A few hours later I see a charge on my credit card for $85 on my credit card. I thought it was supposed to be $20 a day? The truck was dirty and it had an exhaust leak which made it very loud. The process of renting the truck at the location was done over a store phone. It was difficult to hear and the process had to be done on my phone. The blankets I ordered where not in the truck and not available.

The process of renting a truck is very unfriendly. Your website takes too long to get through because of the amount of add ons your have to manauver too. All I wanted to do is get a truck for an hour and I think most people do not need a mover or storage. There was no one in person at the location to handle the rental, it was done by phone. The "agent" was using speaker phone and there were children running around in the background.

No U-Haul representative on duty. Girl at the gas station counter had to call the person via telephone. Had to find a person at station to get the equipment we ordered. Very inconvenient and took too much time. Very disorganized.

I had a confirmation for 2 pieces of equipment. I contacted the scheduling center twice before my pickup and they said the equipment was there. We show up and the car hauler was a dolly. Incorrect! That started off a stressful day even more stressful because now we had to hunt down a car carrier. Lucus Oil Franchise is very unprofessional! Very rude and did not even leave the office to inspect their equipment. Uhaul should revoke their contract with them. Other reviews say the same thing. Please take our advise and look elsewhere!

The employee acted as if I was an inconvenience and all she said was "give me the key" and that was it. She said nothing else. She made zero eye contact and held her hand out from her side reaching for the key as she walked away. Ia renting another truck in a couple of weeks and the return location will definitely be different.

The truck was already there when we got there but the manager needed to be called on the phone to clarify everything. Took a few minutes. A U hual representative came to the location and looked over the truck before we left. Fairly easy process.

This place rips you off be careful and double check your receipts … im not coming back and wouldn’t recommend there service they added extra miles and insurance to my reservation agreement . Lucky i took pics before and after to back me up.

Had a cupped tire on left front that shake so bad could not drive over 55mh the whole trip. The windshield was so dirty you could hardly see through it. I was told someone would call me in a day or two to discuss the problem but no one has called. Poor Service
