I have moved many times and every time I rented a uhual and I have only ran into a few small problems over a 20 year span, but no matter what, they helped me no matter what. Would recommend, highly!!

Al SThere were several service issues with the vehicle. At least one of them (air bag service light) should have prevented it from being rentable. The "Service Air Bag" light was on. The air conditioner would not blow air through the dashboard vents even though the fan was running at full speed. The radio did not work. The dealer was very nice but said that it was u-haul's problem and all that he could do was report the issues. All in all very disappointing for a vehicle with only 1,700 miles on it.

Amy FIt had nothing to do with the location itself, which I would have rated "Excellent", it was the location. To ask a customer to drive 35 miles (70 miles total) to pick-up a truck is unfortunate. Time, mileage and gas! If you are asking a customer to perform this task, at least offer a discount to the overall bill. Thankfully Dave in Lake Placid called the scheduling in Albany and found me a truck and dolly, Thank you Dave! I would have been stuck, as Lake Placid did not have any inventory.

Nicholas LThis was the worst experience I have ever had with uhaul. I was very disappointed. The truck I reserved was not available, and did not become available until 3 hours after my reservation time. I was out my helpers because of the time delay, and it cost me more in the long run.

RICKA DWe were told the equipment would be at a different location and were promised $50 as a result if this inconvenience. This has not appeared on contract # 80685653. But the Tupper Lake location was excellent.
