I ordered trolly and blankets online. But when I was there to pick up the truck and the stuff, he said that he ran out! he put me in a very difficult position just when I am started to move. he put all my stuff and furniture in jeopardy getting scratched and damaged. And when I asked him the reason why although I have ordered it online .. his answer was he just ran out. Like go deal with it your way. I am very disappointed.Jawad A.

The van I rented has a couple of problems. Disc brakes were warped and caused a severe shimmy when applying the brakes at speed. A power point was not functioning to plug in a USB. Also, while it looked like there was a radio, it was inoperable. A final problem, this time of my own making. When refilling the fuel, I overfilled to above my starting point. I asked for a credit against the rental but was told U-Haul doesn't do that. Not fair, in my opinion.martin R.

The rental truck was dirty upon pickup, the centre console was dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The seats had hair all over them and the back seemed like it hadn't been cleaned out. After returning the uhual and stating it needed to be cleaned I was charged for a cleaning fee even though it was dirty before I received it. I was told Uhaul customer service would reach out to me but I haven't heard anything back.Natasha K.

This pick-up was a disaster. I was initially directed to a different location. Uhaul's payment system didn't work. I waited an hour. Once you were capable of accepting payment the lock box I was directed to had no key. So I was sent to another location. A 4hr rental and I spent 50% of my time at Uhaul. I can't believe you actually charged me for the rentalJim B.
Did not seem organized. I dropped off the keys but felt like there were loose ends. They were friendly enough, but too busy with Starbank customers to really deal with me. It's not that the space wasn't clean and inviting; it's a convenience store, so it's a little confusing to be doing a u-haul dropoff here.Matt K.

The people at the pick up location were lovely and doing everything they could to help us. This rating is not about their service as they were the only good thing about my experience with uhaul. But prior to pick up I received 3 calls from different people at uhaul who all gave me different information. I tried calling to confirm my reservation the day before and couldn't reach anyone. At pickup the system was down and we had to wait an hour to be able to take the truck. We were also offered a $50 discount over the phone to return the truck to another location but couldn't reach anyone to confirm that either. All in all not a good experience.Jennifer B.

I recently rented a 15' truck to facilitate moving my apartment, and the process has had some rather large inconveniences, and frustration. The location I chose to rent from was near my residence, but they were not open at 6am when I needed the truck. Luckily U-Haul offers Mobile Pick-up through the App, so I was able to still book the truck for 6am - 2pm on April 3rd. On the morning of April 3rd, I was up early and paid for a ride to the UHaul location. When I logged into the App for Mobile Pick-up, I was surprised to see a message stating that my reservation had been switched to regular pick-up and I had to wait until the location opened at 8:30am - 2 and a half hours later. Nobody contacted me to tell me that my reservation had changed. I contacted Uhaul Support immediately, as I stood in a dark parking lot in the middle of the city, and although the support staff was kind, they could offer no explanation as to why the reservation had changed, or as to why that location was listed as a Mobile Pick-Up location to begin with. There was absolutely no option for me, other than simply waiting the 2.5 hours. The support staff I spoke with said that they'd initiate the $50 Reservation Guarantee Payment, as the truck was not available at the time I was told it would be. I paid for another ride back to my apartment, to wait for the location to open (and I had to pay for yet another ride back to the location for when it opened). The $50 payment barely covers the extra transportation fees I incurred going back and forth, not to mention how much this 2.5 hour delay disrupted the schedule for the day (where I had Service Elevators and Loading Ramps booked for specific times at two different apartment buildings). The employee at the location offered me a longer period with the truck, but because the move was dependent on the reserved times at the apartment buildings, it didn't really help and I had to rush the entire time to make things work. My experience with U-Haul was not a good one. I will be sure to tell people I know about what happened, and I will be sure to use another rental company in the future. - IanIANA S.

I have used U-Haul many times before and this was the fastest and friendlier check out - In. It's located just a short walking distance from my place so chances are I will be coming back. Being open on Sundays is a great advantage. I am a Enterprise Customer but they don't have locations open other than Downtown Toronto on Sundays.Ramone R.

I booked my truck at 12pm on line, received an email the day before said my truck will ready at 1:30pm, I was so upset isn't it supposed to be pick up at 12pm? Called in so many time ask them to change my time back to 12pm, they said they won't be able, ok 1:30pm is fine and I have no choice. On that day, I waited for an hour until 2:30pm to pick it up because the guy was late to return it, I was sososo mad, I called in to the manager and he kept telling me it should be ready in 10 mins which is lie, so the guy who works from there said will give me a discount. The next day, the bill comes up to $74.75, and it didn't mention any discount on the bill, I was frustrate, isn't he promise me will give me a discount when I wait for an extra one hour, so I called in again, it was the lady pick up the phone, I spoke to her my situation and finally she said she won't be able to give me a discount, I mean OMG, if you can't offer a discount, why your guys telling to the customer you will offer a discount to them. Never never never come back again. -worse worse worse terrible experience ever - Not on time at all - lie to the customer - the truck is not clean at all - hang up on the customer when trying to call inLian Y.

I rented the car on Oct 18th 6:30-10:30 pm, contract number 29669671. I put fuel in the tank and checked the fuel meter it showed the same(even more) when i took the car. I drove 22km and added gas accordingly. Based on the gas consumption 18 mpg(7.65 km per liter) I used just less than 3 liters. I added 4.5 liters that is more than enough. The receipt from the gas station was attached in the email, Please, recalculate the charge amount to remove the fuel part.Kiryl N.

Our truck was due for pick-up at 4pm. The previous renter did not return it until just after 5pm. We understand that the late return was not the fault of the U-Haul agent, however, we received little to no help from MA Starbank Convenience to contact the driver for information on where he was. For the first half hour, we were ignored. It was only after pressing and insisting that he take action that we were able to reach the driver for an update. When the truck was returned, the tank was near empty, the truck not cleaned, and no proper inspection/hand off made. We took our own photos in case a damaged mirror (for example) was charged to us. Moving is stressful and often time-sensitive. You have an elevator booked for a short window, and helpers can not always stay longer. My general experience with U-Haul, especially last minute changes in pick-up location that add so much extra in mileage costs have led me to cancel my account.Marcella T.
