The U-Haul attendant was very rude to me, picking up and dropping off my rental. Nothing was wrong with the vehicle, apparently I was short one packing blanket. Her remarks were uncalled for and unjust for a six dollar blanket. (Even though I believe I counted for all of the blankets are rented). Enterprise has better service and customer relations. I will be returning to them as a customer because of my experience.

Aliza WThe operators of this location apparently decided to close on July 3rd even though my rental was scheduled to be returned there that day. I received no notice of this closure. There was an employee of the affiliated auto repair shop on site, but he refused to accept my rental return even though there were other U-Hauls in the shop's parking lot and even after I had completed the check-in through the UHaul app. He even refused to let me park the truck on the street next to the garage building. As there was no key slot at this location, I could not leave the vehicle because this employee refused to take the key. I ended up having to drive to a Uhaul location ~20 minutes away. While the employees there were helpful, it took them a long time to figure out how to accept my return. In the end, what should have been a 15-minute trip to return this truck ended up being a 2-hour ordeal, and I nearly missed my plane home. The behavior and amenities at this W Pico location were completely unacceptable. Furthermore, why wasn't I alerted by Uhaul corporate that I needed to return the truck elsewhere? I will be renting from Ryder or a local company from now on due to this unnecessarily frustrating experience.
Neil HThis location tries to get as many uses out of their trucks in 1 day as possible. I scheduled the truck until 3...When I placed the order I got a call from the shop after telling me I could only have it until 1. I was picking up the truck after 11 and the location I needed to get furniture from was 40 minutes away. This location and the 2 people working were so rude and made my entire day and experience so stressful, not to mention they charged me way too much and also kept an additional 200.00 hold on my card for 2 weeks after the appointment!! Never will I ever go here again and I will never recommend anyone to use this location.

Harsimran kYour site had this dealership listed as a 24/7 drop off facility. Once I was given the vehicle they told me I had to wait till the following day to drop it off. Without anywhere to park my truck in my new apartment at 10pm, I had to drive 20 miles back to where I moved from just to have a space to park it in, and they charged me per mile. Ended up being 110 dollars instead of 54. False advertising and wasn’t told I couldn’t do 24/7 drop off until I had to move out.

However, I was given the truck with 5/8ths full of gas, which makes it very difficult and potentially costly to return with 5/8ths. I’ve been renting trucks for over 20 years in LA, and never had I had anything other than a full tank of gas to start with, since it is easy to return with a full tank

You, Uhaul, suck at the transition between onboarding and actually fulfilling the order. Do better, try caring about your customers experience MORE than making a quick sale.
Michael KThe staff is super friendly but the facility is really dirty. The cleanliness of the truck itself on the inside was okay, the outside okay, the windows were really dirty. I am sure the inside had not been cleaned or sanitized before I rented it. But once again, the staff was very friendly and nice.

Philip GAlthough the UHaul at the Pico location was great, this was the THIRD U-Haul location that I was sent to pick up the truck that I reserved. The manager and employees at The 5051 Obama Blvd, Los Angeles location were utterly incompetent and released the truck that I reserved to a different customer. This cost me valuable time and money because I had workers waiting on me.

JOSHUA MThey took 48 minutes to actually give me the uhaul which I reserved at 08:30AM and on top of that they close at 1pm. I didn't get to start moving an hour later which meant I could not take everything to my new location.
Tiffany CI would recommend this location but they only accepted my uhaul return out of kindness. Uhaul was telling me I had no choice but to go to a different location after they previously told me I HAD to go to this location. The people at this location are amazing. Uhaul on the other hand has been the worst during all of this
Adam MI was told I would be reimbursed $50 for delivering a trailer from LA to San Jose. The plan was to pick up the trailer from Long Beach. However, when I arrived there they told me that the trailer wasn't there and the deal is no longer available. I was very disappointed by the unorganized and chaotic system. The trip from LA to Long Beach cost me 50 miles round-trip and total 2.5 hours (including the wait time over there). By the end of all this I was never compensated the $50 nor received and apology for my trouble. Moreover, I was charged $7 for the extra miles driven!

pamela pThe original location of where I placed my pickup for no longer was a U-Haul agent, yet my order went through without being notified. When I go to that location I was informed of this. I went to the next nearest location and for some reason they had my order. Was never informed. U-haul needs to update their website to avoid this kind of issue. That being said - the new location was very helpful, and had the vehicle I requested.
