The only thing I was upset with is in order to get any moving items such as a truck or car dolly I had to travel to different locations and bonus if you don't know much about a state that your in you have to travel to town unknown to you and out of your way...... that's ridiculousVictoria D.

I rented the vehicle for a duration of 4 hours, and less than 150 miles and the total charge was $144. An eye opening price for such a short rental period.SUNNY B.

For starters I'll say that I'm a 61-year old woman, and I like people. I try to make retail interactions positive because I know it's hard work for people in retail. I've never experienced such a negative service interaction - anywhere. Three people worked there. * None was masked. They had no answer for why not, though it's a state mandate. I was pleasant with them anyway, just kept my distance. * No one could explain the rental pricing - they shrugged and said it all came from the corporate site. * After they had done the paperwork (I signed in online, but it took them an additional 15 minutes) and handed me my keys they told me I needed to move my car to a gas station or have someone come and pick it up. When I explained that I had no one to pick it up and I was unwilling to leave my car at another business, they were insistent and surly, and continued until I just said flat out that I wasn't going to move my car. * When I arrived at the truck it had a large thick cardboard 5' sign on the dash. There was no reasonable place to put it in the truck without impacting use. At this point I didn't want to talk to the people inside again, and I put the sign on the ground. * I heard a loud slam against the side of the truck and looked up to see an angry man yelling at me. He insisted that I take the sign. I said I had rented the truck, not the sign, and left the lot with the car. * As I left I looked over and saw this man filming me with his phone. Altogether it was a creepy and upsetting experience. I strongly recommend avoiding this location of U-Haul.Dana G.
First of all, have the person who checks you in wear a mask. She was making me very nervous because she didn't look well and she kept laughing with NO mask. Secondly, check the tires before a new customer takes it out, I had a tire blow on busy 405 and it could have seriously hurt or killed someone!!!!!!! I did not run anything over or hit anything, The roadside assistant said it was the second worst tire he has ever seen. And pride yourself on having safe equipment??????MARY ANN U.

Although UHaul customer services said I was left a message, I did not know until 7am the day of my move. I checked all my phone messages, texts and emails and no message about the change to Mt Vernon. I had booked movers through UHaul and had to move their time and was totally inconvenienced. For my next move I will try BudgetFrank O.

Due to virus concerns the entire transaction was conducted online. For those without online capability the process could be confusing and leaving them without documentation of their rental. I would suggest that customers are told of the open/closed status of return facilities at the time of rental or the reservation also.John F.

Maybe don't offer cell pick up if the site doesn't work properly for drop-off and don't tell people they can just walk up and grab a truck on a phone app. I still had to go inside, go thru my reservation again and get the truck from behind a locked gate. If i knew it would take an hour to get the truck I would have reserved it an hour earlier and had more daylight left when I got to my destination to unload. Other than that, the truck was nice, clean, and the lady who helped me was very kind and very helpful. Plus, $226 to borrow a truck for a day to move a boat is robbery. But when uhaul's ceo's cup overfilleth, why wouldn't he take advantage of the poor like that. All in all, not a bad experience but not totally pleasant either.Heidi K.

Fix the trucks fuel gauge. It's a new truck yet the gauge appears to be off as it didn't accurately portray fuel use. After filling it, it never got off full so because I couldn't gauge the use I put too much gas in the tank in order to return it with as much as was in it when I picked it up.Amy W.

Online rate per mile said .89 cents/mile.. was charged $1.09. When I asked about it prior to signing the contract she said it will be fixed when it gets totaled at the end.... it wasn't.Sean D.
