This LOCATION was outstanding but the inconvenience and added expense of having to pick up the vehicle over 100 miles away added a tremendous amount of unnecessary expense. The way this rental was handled was abysmal.George G.

Actually the van was NOT clean but I marked 'yes' because it was fairly new, well maintained and ran smooth. There were a lot of crumbs on the floor and I scraped some barbecue sauce off the dashboard. I was treated fairly by the agent but given only the minimal information regarding the process. For instance, I had to ask about the finalization steps on billing and the getting a receipt.James S.

I have never had a bad experience at U-Haul before, let me start out by saying the staff was very professional they were not rude at all. I come in there on one day and make a reservation for a car tote, and then I get an email to do my check in which I do another email that said that the location is different then what I signed up app. The morning of the pickup I get another email at 8:22 in the morning saying that I need to pick up the U-Haul at the Speedway and Craycroft U-Haul, the one that I had originally signed up at. I get there to pick it up and they tell me it's not there. Your email notifications is crappy. That threw off my timing.Allen R.

I'm a long time Uhaul guest and I rented a car hauler for half a day that ended up costing me over $200 dollars due to a slight Misunderstanding on drop off location which was in the same town just different area.. Absolutely NO one was willing to help resolve what was a very minor situation but definitely over willing to charge me more fees with no solution other then pick the trailer up and drive it 20 minutes down the road which was not an option for me due to a very demanding schedule. It seems uhaul has become nothing but a â€œFEE MONSTERâ€ With little focus on its guest. At this point I will no longer recommend Uhaul to anyone nor will I rent there again. I will also be making sure my voice and review capability cost Uhaul well over the little fee that was so proudly charged for dropping a silly trailer conveniently at the nearest place for me and my day as a GUEST but evidently NOT For the company.Joshua H.

Service was slow because they were busy taking care of auto repair customers. Their computer system or U-Haul's computer system was very slow. I spent entirely too much time waiting to check out equipment and the check-in equipment .John G.
No one helped me , I had to figure it out myself.. No one checked for damage. I had to buy an adapter at an auto parts store to hook up the electrical connector. I wasn't told about all the charges. I was given a total and expected to pay. Overall, a terrible experience.Brian S.

The gas tank wasn't even 25% full. Plus the windows were dirty. This is not the first I have received a vehicle in this condition. Also for one way trips...customers should be given credit or return fund for being above the amount of gas given initials. This needs to change.....Juan G.

Arrived and waited to drop off trailer. Representative said to drive across the street, unhook the trailer and he would email me a receipt. Being a disabled veteran, luckily I had someone with me to assist. I believe contracted facilities priority of customer service is for their primary business. This is my 8th rental in the last fourteen months. Today I encountered another event of poor customer service and will this will be my last use of U-haul.Leo P.

I have rated this location and U-Haul overall below average for the following reasons. On 12/26 of 2017, I needed to rent a U-Haul trailer I had scheduled my pickup time for 1300 I had arrived approximately 20 minutes early I waited in the front lobby for approximately 30 minutes before receiving service by what seemed to me, the only qualified person in the place. when there was at least two other people that could have processed me, and got me out of there in 10 minutes. Also, I had to borrow someone else's truck they did not have a ball and hitch for their truck, I assumed that U-Haul would have a loner so I would not have to buy one when. I arrived at the location I was informed that they do not have loaners and that I would have to buy one for $30. So, I had to buy the hitch for 30 that I will never use again they also would not let me return the hitch after I was done, I only used it for 45 minutes. I have had previous experience in the rental equipment industry and as good customer service we always had a few hitches and balls on standby to let the customer borrow not only does this provide good customer service but it also helps protect the equipment because you know the quality of the hitch and ball that you're hooking up to and that it's the right size and there's no defects in the hitch. The trailer that I received was dirty and no one had taken the time to sweep out the trailer.Joshua Y.

Have the reserved piece of equipment at the reserved location on the date I reserved. I had to go across town and back again because the initial place I made the reservation for rented it out so I became the one inconvenienced. The reservation wasn't even correct in your system. This is not a reflection on the location I had to go to, because he was the only one, supposedly, in Tucson to have a tow dolly. We saw at least five at the I-10 location north of town alongside the freeway that we could have gotten to easier. This is why I usually only rent from Penske.Anthony Y.

Missing one safety chain Tail light out Large chunk out of tire tread Very dirty inside I noticed these problems after I loaded the entire trailer, I should be able to be confident the equipment that I am paying for is safe ready and maintained every time. This trailer was obviously not inspected and maintained, cost me three hours waiting for roadside assistance and they brought the Wrong tire. I had to change my whole trip plan because of these incompetent people. Go to an authorized uhaul dealer for rentals, not these sideshow operations working out of someone elses business. I personally ended up fixing the taillight myself and they finally took a tire off of one of the many trailers sitting there in front of me with the correct tire and replaced mine. It is most rediculous that I sat at an authorized UHAUL dealer waiting for roadside assistance because they weren't allowed to work on my trailer because it didn't come from them. Uhaul Please change your policies so all uhaul businesses are able to take care of their faulty equipment at any location.RYAN C.
