I was so impressed with how Darby was with a few questions I had - and then was able to come through in flying colors when the cargo van key went missing. I really appreciated working with this provider.

James BThis guy saved my bacon. The original location U-Haul sent me to pick up the truck was closed on Sunday, so no one was there. Importantly, there was no truck there for me, either! I called and was rerouted to this location where the gentleman took care of me quickly (he wasn't supposed to open until 10 AM but was there early so got me out the door by 9:30). He was clear, efficient, and professional, which I appreciated after my earlier experience. He should definitely be praised.
John JFor a place we're supposed to check in/out 24/7 via cell phone there was almost no service for Verizon, taking over an hour of my reservation time just for checking in and out. I'm not gonna lie, this made me not want to use u-haul again.
Samantha AWhen I called he insisted I use mobile pickup because he was “too busy.” He was leaving as I arrived, and no one was onsite. I had issues with my mobile pickup, and his neighbor had to help me (no one on-site). The most unprofesssional U-Haul experience of my life.

KENNETH SService was terrific, and the cargo van met my transport needs perfectly. Condition of the vehicle prior to renting was well documented with photos detailing some very minor damage by the prior renter. Would definitely recommend U-Haul rentals at Mahneke Motors.

Darby JWhen I signed up for this location, I had no idea no one would be there. I had to call and get my pickup changed to online pickup, which took more than 30 minutes. The person on the phone was very kind and patient. I did also get charged for moving pads, which I never had, so if I could be refunded this charge, that would be great.
Rachel BHad a scheduled pickup of 8am. Shop owner didn’t show until 8:15. Shop owner was also gone when I tried to return midday. While it’s the most convenient location for me to rent from, I don’t trust they’ll be there on time in the future so I’ll be traveling further away for my needs

JOE HVery helpful dealing with pickup. Check under the seats for trash … dirty diaper found after pick up … no big deal just couldn’t figure out what the smell was initially.

WILLIAM SI did receive a strange text message two hours after returning the vehicle, which appears to indicate that my name was somehow shared with an outside person. It read: "This is Equan w/ U-Haul: Did you return last night? Store not open yet & I am trying to send res for same truck. Please call or text 818-399-5299." I'd like to know what that was about.
