This location should lock the back of the trucks as there was a small bag of items left in the back from a homeless person, the store owner did remove those items. And the homeless person urinated in the back of the truck. It wasn't discovered until the truck was being loaded.

I was transferred to this location from another that didn't have my reservation which was inconvenient. The lady running the place complained that I was taking a truck that she had already reserved for an in town move. She did not walk around, walk through or even inquiry about if I knew how to operate or drive the truck. She simply said OK here are the keys through the security window and take a dolly, the truck is outside. It was an awkward interaction at best. The truck worked beautifully and was in great condition.

Location is strange. It's not just a U-Haul location. They have Western Union and Mail/Fedex services. 3 windows, but only 1 person to help a myriad of customers. The big thing, in my opinion, the truck I rented stalled. Stalled at a major stop light. I was stuck for maybe less than 5 minutes, but it also annoyed the drivers around me. People were cursing at me in 3 or 4 different languages. Probably wouldn't have happened if the truck was maintained.

These ratings are not for this location but the location that was originally tagged to my reservation. I made a reservation online and was sent to a location that was open and no one was working (uhaul representative) during business hours. I was told he would be back in an hour or two. I called this location before heading there to assure the vehicle was available for pick up. I spoke to the u haul representative and when I arrived 15 minutes later he was no where to be found. I called the call center and was sent out of my way to another location. This whole process sent me 60 miles out of my way and wasted over 3 1/2 hours to rent a truck. I will never use u-haul services EVER. Suppose-u-drive has much better customer service and no problem delivering services that are much more convenient. 1) Improve you truck coordination from call center to pick up location. During this process my replacement truck at the second location was rented after I had already been told there was one on hold. 2) Stop making "Jerry's Automotive/Gas Station/check cashing/mail center" a certified u-haul vendor. The has the worst customer service, hardly speak any English, and don't know any dimentions of the truck. Nor are they equipped with the proper property to have u-haul parking. 3) Work on your customer service. My experience over the phone was horrible. I spoke to four people who told me four different things. They gave my wrong hours of operation. Wrong locations that were open. If it was important information they screwed it up. NEVER AGIAN
