Review is not about the location I picked the truck up from. It's about the fact that I reserved the truck at location ten minutes from my house in NM and I had to drive over a half an hour each way to go pick it up because it wasn't available at the location I reserved. Uhaul should have had the truck brought over not me do their job. I should have been made aware at time I reserved, 3 weeks before my move, not a couple days before. It felt underhanded to not reveal this upfront. I could have reserved with a different company had I known upfront. U-Hauls lack if inventory should not have been made my problem causing me inconvenience.

It’s not the owners fault, but this area of town is just really bad! Someone siphoned gas out of the truck so it was completely in empty when we got there in the morning with 2 miles to go. We were praying we can make it to the gas station and we did!

Luz NThe customer service was great. She was able to fix our issue with the equipment in a friendly and helpful manner. The equipment was our issue. The fuel tank had been siphoned off and the fuel level was not correct. The tubes had been cut off and left in the tank, preventing us from filling the tank. Luckily we where only a block away when we discovered this. She removed the tubes within a minute of us coming back to the yard. Very friendly and quick.
Brent QThey are having trouble with people siphoning gas, but we got a gas credit and it helped us out, drove an hour away And the bill was around $200. Consider investing in a fence or second garage... But to be honest, y'all do well, thanks for your help! I'm glad so much of this is online now.

Jeannie HMy reservation got moved to another store and the whole thing was terrible. I originally set up the rental to be contactless, from a store that I knew I could contact if I had any issues. Instead uhaul called me and told me to go to another store, which was not contactless, the whole checkin took WAY longer because we had to be traded off between clerks our card ran twice and took well over 30 mins. Got a truck that had no AC and it is far too hot in NM to not have AC. Then on our drop off day I couldn’t call the store cause they weren’t open. And I tried the text an agent thing but your agent took well over 15 mins each time he typed a message which never did he answer any of many questions about extending my time from 9 am to 9 pm. Instead in the short time my phone timed out because of how long he took to answer. He then typed that I was offline and terminated the messaging. And now today I got an email for my bank saying that I had a new charge for $220 from uhaul that did not go thru because my card is locked, and I will not be paying until there is a serious adjustment to my bill. Just because that shop you all sent me to, took until 441 pm today when they should have checked it in first thing cause the truck was dropped off at exactly 909 pm the night before. And charge for 15 gallons of gas and the $30 convenience fee. When I returned the truck with a half a tank the same way I received it and have pics of both. We have rented from uhaul on somewhat of a regular basis for the past 3 years. But I refuse to ever get any product from that shop you sent me to, and if I make a reservation in the future I expect it to be where, when, And how I make the reservation, I know what works for me that is why I take the time to make the reservations. ramona mThe app should let you know ahead of time that drop off location for in-town uhaul rentals need to be return to same pick up location because I was able to enter a different pickup and drop off locations on the website and it never warned me that this was not possible. I had a very bad experience with this because I had to take the uhaul back across town after a long day and freeway was close. I called customer service only to be on hold for 1 hour and same with chat. I had no other option than driving

EDWINA QEmployee was half an hour late from my pickup appointment time, not friendly or helpful! I rented for six hours and only received five and a half, because of their being late, and no adjustment. Most importantly I was over charged and I’m disputing payment! I will never use this uhaul dealership again!

JULIE GTeach them how to treat customers, instead of screwing them over. When I filled out online, it showed $.79 / mile - I was charged $.99. I used the truck for 13.5 miles, and they charged me for more than 5 gal. of gas (really?). The graph on the receipt shows it should have been 3. The truck wreaked of a really bad smell. Didn't even offer a discount for that ( I asked).

LUIS RBad experience in trying to rent car dolly. One location would not rent me the item and were not helpful at all, even though I have very good experience before this time and this time they were insisted that my car I would be using would not work. At different location I was told that U-Haul equipment would not work for me. When I called your phone line the gentlemen on the line was very helpful and I was able to rent the dolly and when I needed it. I have used U-Haul in the past but after this experience I probably not use them again.

Once I called that number no problems at all. I would suggest U-Haul get there act together. Why have a so called 24 hour phone line and web site if you can not reach someone????
anthony ton this particular rental cargo truck, the right side passenger does not close easily. you have to slam it hard enough to close the door. I just wanted to point this out. other than that, I Thank Joe, the representative was very courteous and helpful.

Ralph HPoorly executed instructions, was not advised by any Uhaul representative to download a app. I had to call back 6 times to get the rite information and 2 of the representatives had attitude problems. At the end we were charged more then we expected also. Invoice shows 3 separate charges for gas. We paid the extra fee to cover the gas and only used a 16th of the gas. Not happy at all with this whole process. Would like a representative to call so we can take care of these issues.
