I am a 78 year old female, the trailer was parked on grass, we had just had a hard rain so it was muddy and although I managed to lift the hitch I could not roll the trailer to get it to catch on the hitch. I finally flagged down a gentleman leaving this location and requested his help.

JULE VThe ratchet binders need to be replaced on the older tow dollies. The vehicle I towed came unstrapped in tow & proper use of safety chains on the frame is the only thing that avoided total disaster.
Scott HI had a $75.00 VIP Credit and the onsite staff was NOT aware how to process the credit. This resulted with contacting a uhaul CSR who was able to I initiate the credit process. A field manager joined the call, but also unable to ensure that the credit was applied at that time. The onsite staff stated that they were unable to approve the credit (supposedly). Once again, I'm disappointed by the actions of the uhaul broker/agent. They are not open to representing uhal's brand or processes.

Ayden LA guy called me Sunday before I left Augusta and told me his lot was full so I should take the trailer to any other Uhaul location. When I tried to return the trailer to the New Bern Ave location (15 miles out of my way) a guy inside told me where to park it and he would be out to help. About 15 mins later a lady came out and started to assist. Then when I told her that Mario's had said their lot was full she said well ours is full too (even though I parked where told to) and that I had to call traffic (whatever that is) and for them to tell me where to take it. Then she suggested I just take it to a Poole Rd location, and I said how do I know if they have space and that I can't pull this trailer all over town. She then said she would get me the #. 10 mins or so later she gave me an 800 # to call. The rep there tried to call traffic and the area Mgr to no avail as rraffic closed at 7. I arrived at the store at 6:30. She then told me to just go drop it at Mario's since thats what the system still showed and to use the app to check it in so I didn't have to worry about them saying they didn't have space. When I got to Mario's, they had plenty of space for the trailer, so I wasted over an hour of my time and 20-30 miles pulling the trailer.
Bradley CWhen i went to pick up the vehicle, i was the only customer in the store. Shortly, couple of customers came and the attendant asked me to step aside so that she can serve the other customer. I asked my self, who was I, if not a customer. I stepped aside and waited as she served the others. Upon returning the vehicle, she then again asked me to “step aside so i can serve the customer. “. This time, i told her i was a customer like any other and that I did it the first time I was there to pick up and I was not doing that again. She got very enraged and bright red in the face and began talking down at me. She then spoke her language and then an elderly man came to assist “the customer”. She continue to be disrespectful and talk down to me. I told her i would not tolerate it and that i was not her child. So with all my years of renting from uhaul l, have never gotten this reaction before. She is giving Uhaul a bad reputation. It took over 10 minutes to wait for my receipt and it was still not given. I asked her to email it to me. She then asked me, “do you have enough money on your card”. I felt this woman saw a black woman and put me in a negative category. I felt insulted, to say the least.
jAMETTA SNot friendly whatsoever! In fact, the man was quite rude to my son who was trying to help unhook the trailer. When the man was unable to remove the chains—shouldn’t he be the exper anyway ?!?—I had to show him…not even so much as a “thanks” from him. Customer service was an all time low! 0 stars for this guy!

Mike FI was supposed to get a call at 4 the day before if the trailer was unavailable. I didn’t receive a call. I mentioned to the lady and she argued with me and acted like she didn’t know anything about calling.

Nik RThe guy behind the counter was extremely rude! Every time someone came to the counter he made me move so he could wait on them. He stated that he didn’t work for U-HAUL and he didn’t care if I had to wait. He wouldn’t help us hook the trailer up & did not care that the plugs were old and didn’t connect correctly! We drove for 5 hours without lights on the trailer at nighttime. His attitude was ridiculous!
Brandy SThe trailer was old. The doors would not latch open. It’s extremely heavy, and I had to unhook by myself, and the drop off location refused to help me.

dkwuchukwu nThe trailer was obviously not well maintained because it destroyed my car and damaged or destroyed hundreds of dollars of personal property I was transporting in the car. I don’t blame that on Mario’s - I blame that on a failure of U-Haul to properly maintain its equipment. I was happy with Mario’s because they worked with me to hook up the trailer and get my car tied down on the trailer.
TIM DThe trailer had lumber sitting in it when I picked it up, the tires have a wobble at medium speed and the trailer lights didn't work at all. When I picked up the unit, the clerk was on the phone with someone else the entire time. I didn't feel like a valued customer that warranted his time.
