They do not really know what is happening with rentals they overcharged us and never refunded would not go there again

Location was in a small town and inconvenient to get a ride home from. Uhaul should have a drop off location in Stratford, Ontario.

Oladapo Athe trailer needed a landing gear and a longer electrical hookup cable, both things the store said you don't supply
JOHNS SI was told that I could drop off in Stratford. We dropped the trailer I went in to the esso and she told me that is not correct. So my father took it back to Baden, got lost, freaked out because he had never been there. Customer service was awesome when I called. But this will not be where i get anything again.

Thomas RThe computer system used by the staff is crazy slow. Took at least 10mins to pay and register and I was the only person in the store. This should all be done with a mobile app where I can upload my drivers license and credit card. As well the safety chains on the trailer are not legal in Canada as they didn’t lock or close. Refer to ministry of transportation safety chain laws

Dwaine TThe vehicle had not been cleaned from previous driver(s). The back was filthy with soil and other dirt. The cab was less than clean but also had items in it from other drivers - a glove; plastic sandals.
Glyn JAll was good, the van was fine. We did notice an oil change sticker that was overdue ... hence the low review on maintenance.
William JRoad construction was the biggest hindrance - very difficult to get to, and it’s a SMALL parking lot for a big truck.

MATTHEWEE DI rented a small truck for two hours. I was not given any paperwork even after I returned the vehicle. When I left the store I did not even know the total cost nor was the truck inspected before I left. It wasn't until I got home did I find out what I was charged by e-mail.. It did not match the quote I was given.
ROBERTA AMy father and I picked up the truck at this location, we drove 5kms down the road to Tim Hortons to use the washroom and parked the truck in the meantime. When we tried to start the Uhaul, it would not start. The battery was clearly eroded as fumes were strong.
THOMAS GSupply what is ordered, clean vehicles. Overall we will never use haul again. Changed my order twice,and 12 hrs before move I get a call you can’t supply the vehicle I ordered. Had no choice but to take a vehicle half the size with no real discount. Totally unexpectiable!
PHILIPR HThe app on my phone wouldn't work and it said please contact a CSR and then your call centre was too busy to answer. I then waited 30 min and then used digital chat Who then took 10 min to tell me to call the call centre again. Wasted 40 min of my time. Lady on the phone didn't care that the app didn't work for odometer, told me to leave. Location was friendly and proper. I would use this location again if I had to.
OSEN NThis was my third effort to secure a rental. Also my second transfer of booked location to a different location 25kilometers away no where near immediate city of Stratford that has a population of greater than 32,000 VS Baden 4,500. Only to find wiring harness damaged beyond use. The facility refused to provide me with a appropriate replacement and forced me to purchase one. No assistance was offered or supervision made that trailer is safely hooked up. My transaction was constantly interrupted to clients wishing to make Convenience Store item purchases such as pop, fuel, propane etc. Very poor customer service with intimidation to cancel my booking for a trailer. I'm very disappointed in this complex disorganized and out come to discover/repair trailer not fit or safe to be roadworks. My expectation is that Uhaul will rectify these issues a address them with appropriate parties. Supply local city of Stratford for its size with at least 2 locations with a 5x9 open trailer to be available for local rental in a size of city deserving a Uhaul facility. Offer me free rental opportunities for the next year.

JAMES BWe booked a 9 ft cargo van for 8am Saturday June 12th. When I arrived at the location ( out of our local area) it was not there and I was told we couldn't get that vehivle until 2:15pm. This is not what we booked. I had to upgrade a vehicle size bigger, a 10ft cube van. I asked if we could still get the kilometre rate that was applied to the smaller vehicle and was told by the local vendor he would do what he could. When I returned that evening. I asked again if would be given the discounted rate for kilometreage and he said yes. When I received the bill it was at the higher rate for the bigger vehicle. I am disappointed in the servcie we have received. I have made a compalint and have not heard anything back. I am very frustrated by this lack of customer service! I will tell people about this and why I wouldn't recommend UHaul. Thank you Don Dingwall

Andres MI was charged for a whole day. The original location was suppose to be Kitchener NOT Baden. The gentleman had no information on hand nor could he answer any of my questions regarding kms, gas, what I was being charged for etc.

PAULD BWe were not advised until an email that the pick up and drop off location was changed. I called the day before the rental and was advised that a regional supervisor (Andy?) would contact me to discuss the situation, and he did not. This change in location not only extended the move day by over an hour but also increased mileage costs...... unacceptable. We will not be renting from uhaul again
