The truck I rented got my mattress and box spring wet. It was the right side of the truck. There was about 6 inches of water in both items. I have pictures of the mattress and the water damaged done to the item. Please let me know how I can get reimbursed for damage to my items. Thank you so much

From pick-up to drop-off the process was very easy. The vendor was knowledgeable and very friendly, helpful and courteous. I would definitely recommend u-haul.

After hooking up the trailer remember to tell the customer they need a jack if returning the trailer without a "worker" on the lot.

Pam told me false information about my rental over the phone. Then I got a ride over an hour to the town she was located in to pick up my vehicle only to find out it's IN TOWN ONLY. nd they have nothing else available. The woman who did help me was wonderful. She took the time to call a couple different people and see what we could do. I finally had to agree to use the vehicle. And then drive it back to that town. I missed an extra day of work. And had to sleep at a friend's house due to lack of transportation. Then I had to payy feiwnsbto drive me over an hour home. I will never go there again. And if uhaul wants my business they need to compensate me for my trouble!!! I'm almost ready to hire a lawyer over the situation

The truck we got had just been turned in...gas was barely above 5/8ths full..When we turned it in, tank was at 3/4's exactly. Since there was was more gas in than when we picked it up, one would have thought U haul would not have charged for the excess 6 miles over and above the 177 allowed.

This specific location was good but I didn’t like the fact that I had to drive an hour to this pickup location because the vehicle I had reserved close to my location was not there. But the lady at this location was very nice and helpful and she showed us how to use the truck and explained the rules. Just uhaul itself that sucks.

Made Reservation over the phone, and picked up remotely when they were not open. Very convient to do it this way, but still ran into snags. Was on phone for over a half hour with customer service before I was able to retreive the key for my truck. Afer that, everything was smooth.

I am a tall woman however the driver seat is so high that it was hard to reach the gas pedal even with the seat pushed forward

Truck had need service light when picked up. Was told to ignore. Heater was stuck on and burned my feet. I took pictures to document. Truck had significant front end shake between 65 and 70mph. Was a very poor experience.

Our only complaint year after year is that we cannot count on whether or not we will actually get a truck and if we do, if we will get the size we need. It continues to be a frustration especially as we are in an area where our options are limited.

Make sure the vehicles are clean, we rented this so that I could go to customer's houses to work on their windows and doors and had to use a whole can of Lysol to try to mask the manure smell from whatever farmer used it prior. Tire pressure light was on indicating that the pressure was too high and when I checked pressure I found that all 4 tires had 100psi of air in them, after setting them to the recommended 50psi, the light then read that the tires were still low.

the guys at hamilton are great. Not like norwich where the guy was a complete rude jerk (looking at you mr bruce osterhout, from a prior visit) will try to book thru hamilton whenever possible.

Truck had roaches coming out of the dash almost made me get in an accident. Put my furnishings in the storage hope I am not infested. Engine light came on it took me 8 hrs to get 4.5 hrs away because of truck. Then the U haul person said all they can compensate me is for $150 dollars. That truck showed 7 codes and they put it out of commission. I am a single grandmother traveling with my 3 and 4 year old grandchildren and I feel uhaul should have compensated me better for all of my trouble and stress. I paid $449 for the truck and it burned gas like crazy all the way. All uhaul can compensate is $150 dollars never again.

The web site directions are unclear. One must go into Hamilton to Burt Marshall's to complete the transaction, then go back to the address on 12B to retrieve the rental. This is despite having completely filled out all of the UHAUL pre-registration online. In addition, the woman who greeted us in the office was rude, and clearly not interested in helping. Luckily someone else finally showed up (15 minutes past our appointment time) to assist. The gentleman who met us at the 12B address to pick up the trailer was helpful and pleasant.

The size truck rented was not available. Rental reservation was submitted a month in advanced . This caused confusion and stress that was unnessary.
