I was charged for 262 miles, when I drove 104. I was charged and when requested proof none was provided. Extremely upset to say the very least! I will advise any and everyone I know not to deal with this drop off location because they are frauds! WILL TELL ANYONE NOT TO RENT FROM THIS LOCATION BECAUSE I WAS SCREWED OUT OF OVER $100 SO THEY COULD POCKET MONEY WITH NO PROOF! EXTREMELY PISSED OFF! NEVER EVER AGAIN!Jenna C.

U-haul did not inform me that my pick up location was changed. They had multiple ways to contact me and did not. I had to drive 2 hours out of my way (1 hour in the opposite direction of my location) to pick up. I spoke with two different U-haul reps and no one would compensate me for my inconvenience. 3rd time this has happened. Next time I will use another company.CRAIG C.

The truck had been smoked in and something spilled all over the console. It was not cleaned at all, floors were a mess. With it being in that shape, I know that there was no "covid" cleaning put in place. That can be a problem for some customers.Shelley K.

Percy Johnson was a life saver. The Albemarle location the lady was gone for vacation and the place was closed on the schedule pick up date. Percy drove from Charlotte and was waiting for us so we could get our rental. He was excellent helping us, great personality and sp professional. When we found out our house closing was moved an additional day out which was suppose to be our return date, we immediately contacted Percy and he handled extending our rental one more day. We could not have made all of our moving without Percy's help. We are so grateful and you have a very caring employee whom represents UHaul to the fullest. He deserves a raise because he goes beyond his duties to help people with their rental needs.JOSEPH E.
Had a lot of trouble with the app/ web page during pick up. Customer Service rep Tristen did an excellent job assisting us. She helped us through multiple issues, exhibited tremendous patience. My reservation was confirmed several times yet the morning of, we arrive to find out they promised the truck to the previous user longer, leaving us to scramble and panic to move by the end of day. We drove over three hours getting a truck and getting home to pack it and leave. This business is extremely unprofessional and unorganized. Thankfully the woman we picked up the truck from was very patient and kind while we dealt with your awful service.noah C.

The ramp was broken and unusable due to the fact it could not be stored after being extended. This was discovered after the truck was full. It required crawling under the truck for an extended time to get it re-stowed. Then then prevented the use of the ramp for unloading g and two more loads. The e-check in and return is cumbersome. This shifts the work to the consumer but not the associated savings.Gregory N.

Why do you give the option to get your deposit back by cash and then mail it anyway? That was not the contract i signed and will probably never use uhaul again after this. Communication is the key. I spoke with someone and uhaul still sent the check out to an address i dont even live at. Made my moving experience twice as bad.Ashley M.

I tried and tried to use my the app to process the return of the vehicle after hours. It could not locate me, although the share feature was on. (had been using GPS all day). I called support, but that system was down, as well. So, we locked the truck and left the keys in the drop box. I was charged for the facility receiving the truck. I refuted the charge as instructed on the e-mail. However, I have yet to hear back from them. Nor has a refund be processed.Evan Durelle C.

Unfortunately, when I returned there on time was a sign on the door ... closed due to family emergency & contact 1-800- GO U-Haul. That's fine, however, when I called the # for assistance... I got a message to callback due to technical issues. Then when I tried to use app it would not work. I went back over today to see if anyone was there... no one was there but the app Worked ... however I am charged an extra day. I am due a day refund ... $25.49CHERYL P.

The woman who checked me out (owner?) was unprofessional. My appointment time was late afternoon but I came early. She was having problems scanning my license so the time ran over, I guess it was closing time. The trailer I rented had a door that wouldn't come down and she said "I have to be somewhere in an hour, can your husband fix it?" I responded that I wouldn't be leaving with inoperable equipment. She kept trying to pull the door down but she couldn't and repeated that she had to be somewhere. I told her I heard her, but the equipment should be working properly and it wasn't my fault. She told us to go unhook and get a new trailer. Won't be doing business with them and will tell others to not as well....kelly H.
