When we as the customers arrive, the person at the front desk should pay attention to us; not take personal calls or attend to someone else without acknowledging the person in front of them. Also, if the location doesn't have dollies, then the UHaul website should also reflect that. We needed a dollie, but when we got to the location, they said they don’t carry any. That is misinformation on behalf of the company and website.

I reserved my rental on another location in Hollywood, when i got there, the side window was broken, so I had to call customer service to be able to switch vehicles. I was then sent to the Hallandale location. I don't understand why i would be given a number of a vehicle that is not available to be rented, obviously nobody will drive a van with broken glass on it. My reservation was originally at 4:30pm, I got there early, when I talked to Erica from customer service, which BTW needs to improve her "customer service" skills, she sends me to the other location, and activates the rental at 4:30pm, but I don't get there unitl 4:50pm. It took me a few minutes to find the place in Hallandale since there are no signs or anything that will give you an idea that, that's where you have to go. When I get there the door was locked, and the guys there were very ready to leave, and not happy to see me. I do get it though, they were closing in 10 minutes. I had no intention on delaying them, if it wouldn't be because of the other van being broken in, I wouldn't have gotten there so late, but I guess after the first impression the guy that took care of me was overall nice, explained what I needed to know and where to return the vehicle and the key. The van worked well, even though it seemed like whoever used it before me, had transported a horse, because it smelled like a stable, but the inside was clean thou. I used the vehicle without a problem, drove it back to the location, parked as I was told, completed the questions, took the pictures needed and I was done. Overall it was an OK experience, nothing mayor, but definitely a few things that need improvement. I would recommend the location to a friend, but will explain where it is, so he/she don't waste time looking for it.

the most terrible experience ever!!!!!!!! Customer service does know nothing. The reservation of van was for 6 a.m. and pick up time was 9 a.m. 3 hours with customer service gave nothing and I could get the truck after the office was open. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

I reserved a truck and 3 dozen furniture pads. This location does not have furniture pads, only trucks. They removed the 30 dollar charge bUT, without the pads, the truck was pretry useless. Luckily, the West Park u haul coprorate store hooked me up with the pads and I made my move.

Poorly advertise had problem locating the site. Other client at same time experienced the same situation.

The van utilized did not have a pleasant ordor. It appears as if the previous user, was transporting animals. Also, the cupholder had 5-6 live roaches in it. Not a good experience using the van. Staff was friendly upon arriving to pick up the van. Customer service s was not the issue, only the equipment used.

I would improve the customer service. One of the sales women made a racist comment about my last name that I did not appreciate, but she thought it was a funny joke. I would provide employees with some training on dealing with various clients from various ethnicities. And I'm surprised because she was Russian so I would think she would have a little bit more understanding with difficult names. Also I noticed they charged me something on the account that in my original online application I did not put which I'm not happy with but I'm not going to fight it because it's done and I'm too busy.
