Richard TompkinsThe receptionist did a great job. UHaul changed the drop off location and sent me a text of the new location. However, when I showed up with the truck there was no record of the change. She was able to quickly find the contract and get the drop-off changed for both the truck and the appliance dolly (which had to be done under two contracts - see pickup review). She did a great job despite UHaul's issues.

This location has EVERY need you could think of, all without grumpy, unhelpful, or clueless Technicians/Receptionists!! Not tech savvy? They got you! Never used a moving truck or trailer? They got you! If you book incorrectly? They got you! If you forgot equipment? They got you! Holiday weekend? They got you! App giving you a hard time? They got you! Last minute changes? They got you! It'd SO hard to find FRIENDLY people that actually CARE & are KNOWLEDGEABLE on how to BEST meet the SPECIFIC needs of each person that walks through their doors. Using this location, you'll have all that & more! I can't thank you guys enough for such a great experience! Any future needs of our will be fulfilled through you good folks!💕

You can’t finish the reservation because when it asks you to enter your drivers license info it fails and says “page not found” and the website does the same crap. I was quoted $1.29(which is OUTRAGEOUS) per mile over the phone but the app said $0.79 per mile. The online process never properly reserved my truck so they had to redo the entire thing manually at the store literally taking more time than it would’ve if I would’ve just started there even though I literally requested a call back and spoke to a rep over the phone to reserve the listing. The quick checkout app crap didn’t work either because of all the other glitches. So I ended up using the app, going to the website using a browser, speaking to a rep over the phone, and dealing with going into an actual office and having to deal with a human all over one reservation. Absolutely the worst experience I’ve literally ever had renting anything.

MARCEL HELMICHStop sending texts saying “contact us regarding your upcoming rental” and when calling the number it is a pre-recorded pitch for Life Alert. Also, I received a text from someone named Adrian (this was not the agent who helped me at pickup, she was great) asking me if I was sure I would be returning my rental on time. I felt this was uncalled for and made me feel uncomfortable. I did not appreciate this tactic.

Kim HollThe experience, trying to get a truck from U-Haul was horrible. I was supposed to have a 26' truck at 8:30am in Rolla, and I was never given a confirmation phone call. On the morning of my move I went to the place I had selected when making my reservation and no one was there. When I got online to look up my reservation it had been moved to St Robert, a town about 25 miles away. There was a truck sitting at the location I originally went to but no one was there to help and apparently could not be reached according to your customer service. They made a new reservation for a truck that was supposed to be returned at a different location at 11am. At 11am though, I got a text notifying me that my reservation had been changed back to St Robert. I got a call from a representative about 5 minutes later who wanted me to get the truck 25 miles away. He offered me a discount on mileage but only down to $0.99 per mile, to which I said that's still adding another $30, minimum to my bill and eventually was able to get a 6'x12' enclosed trailer instead. While the trailer worked, it took the 6 people I had hired to help with the move the rest of the day to try and move my family's stuff and we were not able to finish in one day due to the late start and smaller capacity moving equipment. At the end of the day, after all the mess ups that U-Haul caused we weren't offered a discount on the trailer, or anything to compensate for all the headaches we endured. EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED!
