The experience, trying to get a truck from U-Haul was horrible. I was supposed to have a 26' truck at 8:30am in Rolla, and I was never given a confirmation phone call. On the morning of my move I went to the place I had selected when making my reservation and no one was there. When I got online to look up my reservation it had been moved to St Robert, a town about 25 miles away. There was a truck sitting at the location I originally went to but no one was there to help and apparently could not be reached according to your customer service. They made a new reservation for a truck that was supposed to be returned at a different location at 11am. At 11am though, I got a text notifying me that my reservation had been changed back to St Robert. I got a call from a representative about 5 minutes later who wanted me to get the truck 25 miles away. He offered me a discount on mileage but only down to $0.99 per mile, to which I said that's still adding another $30, minimum to my bill and eventually was able to get a 6'x12' enclosed trailer instead. While the trailer worked, it took the 6 people I had hired to help with the move the rest of the day to try and move my family's stuff and we were not able to finish in one day due to the late start and smaller capacity moving equipment. At the end of the day, after all the mess ups that U-Haul caused we weren't offered a discount on the trailer, or anything to compensate for all the headaches we endured. This location was not the original location i set my reservation for. I was referred to this location in Rolla which was 30 minutes away from where I was wanting to pick up my truck and trailer. This specific location was very helpful and friendly and made the pickup process very easyHugo V.

Truck wasn't ready at the requested time, although that was due to the previous user not returning on time so thats out of the control of the employees. No complaints other than that. Employees were nice and the truck worked like a dream.cody C.

I was very pleased with the rental location and the company U-Hal. Equipment was good no problems at all. If I has to make a suggestion I'd say to fill all the gas tankers and have people start and end with a full tank of gas. It would cut down on the confusion of tryingtobrig a truck back with 5/16s tank or something like that. Over all great experienceMicheal S.

The truck had about 3/8 tank of gas - had to put gas in the truck before I could even begin the move. In addition, the location and time for truck pickup were changed - at first they wanted me to come to pick the truck up on Friday instead of Saturday as I had reserved, she finally agreed to meet me there on Saturday morning as the orginal reservation stated.Keith S.

This location was great, the equipment very clean and friendly staff. I will recommend. However, it was not the location I signed up for on the website. I did not receive any phone calls from UHaul when I reserved online indicating a change in locations. This was an unfortunate delay as the first place had to call around to find where my equipment was. Then I had to drive there and compelte the contractual agreement.Eric G.

The nicest people! I had no idea about the trailer was about to rent, had to change my order twice, I was totally ready to get mad at but instead the senior lady was so nice, helped me patiently to get the right trailer for my purpose and then there was another gentleman which helped me with installation. The vehicle was good, the contact less method was (in theory) straight forward and simple. The app was developed in the pits of hell for hard of use. At one point it seemed to suggest my secondary contact was actually me and made me use a different one. When I picked up the truck, there were 0.9miles more than was noted. So I made note, and the app asked for a verification photo that it then refused to let me take. So I just paid the extra ~$1 instead of messing with it. Overall: the truck was very good, the drop off was super easy. But im going over to Google play and giving that app a negative star for being written by a toddler with epilepsy.Joshua J.

Give a phone number to call with concerns. All I got was a message that someone would call within 48 hours about my bill charge. They charged me for fuel when I put it right back to where it was when I started (just below half). And I took before and after photos to prove it.Michelle R.

The online pick up application was not working and the staff here came in on their day off to help me. I was on hold for UHaul 1-800 number for 30 mins.They arrived the same time the online agent came on the line. I don't know what I would've done if they hadn't done that for us. It's still a matter of some mystery as to if the auto transport I got was rated for my truck or not. The internet says yes, the drop off location said â€œit's a miracle you didn't blow out all four wheels on that thing, Jesusâ€. The pickup location thought it was fine, so who really knows. But the folks at this location were very nice and although it was quite confusing where the location actually was, I got in and out with no problem.Andrew R.
