Very friendly and helpful!
Barbara JThe truck was dirty inside and out, the comparison pictures used were of the truck in a brand new state. The truck is NOT brand new and is actually rather beat up compared to those pictures use. I had to take a picture of every side and put a statement down. I returned the truck just as dirty as you gave it to me. Only, with a bit more gas left in it. But im not a fan of a nasty beat up truck. The truck also pulls a bit to the left while driving. Might want to have that checked out.

Greg DThe rental agent Blake did very well as he had to come from another location on short notice. He handled everything well and got us on our way. He’s an exemplary employee. The only problem I had was that the trailer was not cleaned properly and I had to do that before I could load it. I didn’t mention that to Blake because I was focused on getting the trailer hooked up correctly and didn’t notice all the dirt in the trailer. Once I got to the house and as I was cleaning the trailer I noticed a sign in it which mentioned a $15 cleaning fee if not returned clean - I think I’m owed for having to clean it myself. Mike WVan was Not checked in correctly from previous use. I was charged immediately for the location’s error but have to wait 7-10 days to get my money refunded. Why is my money tied up for their failure. I was charged for 100 miles and drove 7.2 miles. Van needed oil change and indicator light for rear right door shows open when not. Not fueled up… on Empty, I had put gas in before starting (was given $15.00 credit for gas). Not told officevwould be closed at 2 pm on return. Website says open 7 am-7 pm. No previous explanation of how to complete check in. Extremely frustrating!

Steve PI would not recommend Uhaul to anyone. Unfortunately my experience was not very forgiving and I was charged $238 for dropping it off at Mattawan, which is what I put on my original reservation for Uhaul before they called the day before my appointment to let me know my reserved truck was no longer available.

Elizabeth BEveryone great with local U-Haul company. Very friendly and professional. The only complaint I have (and it's a small one) was U-Haul Corporate would intervene via text msg trying to rent me a truck online. Worse part was I was renting a 26 ft and they were suggesting I rent an 18 ft from them and that was via a phone call from Phoenix, AZ (U-Haul HQ)

MARISOL SWhen I picked up my equipment I noticed that my truck right rear outside tire appeared to have low tire pressure, I could see the bulge in the sidewall and knew what it meant. I made the assumption of low tire and also assumed the kid inside likely did not have an air compressor handy to fill it up. It was almost closing time and I was already behind schedule. I had an air compressor that I could use to fill it up at home and decided to drive away without physically checking that tire. When I got to my house I inspected the tire and found it to be completely flat with a large screw in the middle of the tread. I informed U-Haul and roadside service was dispatched. After changing the flat tire I asked the technician to check tire pressure of all tires. He found that the inside tire directly behind the flat one only had 20 psi due to a faulty Schrader valve extension. I managed to make it safely to my home that day to begin loading, but that could have been a very bad day, as I was also pulling an auto transport with that truck. Someone somewhere did not do a good job of inspecting that truck. Having to move is nerve wracking enough as it is, that didn't help. I wondered what else may have been missed as I drove this truck 600 miles down the road. The inspection sticker near the driver door appears to show a single monthly inspection of those trucks, U-Haul might consider more frequent inspections of their equipment. I was also not pleased to find that my truck did not have cruise control or power anything. That made for a very long drive, oh well I suppose.
Brian PI didn’t even get to use the van they left the wrong key in the box. Called 24/7 customer service got the voicemail and they never returned my calls And the time prior to this one i was double charged for a rental and not reimbursed
Rachael FUhaul corporate called me and lied to me saying my preferred location didn’t have a tow dolly and I would have to drive 10 miles the opposite direction to pick it up. I stopped by Midway Self Storage and confirmed they did have the tow dolly I needed and Midway changed my reservation to them. Days later Uhaul corporate canceled my reservation with Midway and moved it back to the location I didn’t want without telling me. Midway still had the tow dolly I needed and I used it. Midway Self Storage I’m Mattawan, MI was great. Uhaul corporate lied to me.
