The location was new, clean, and the service was friendly and prompt. The Uhaul itself had a broken fuel gauge, causing us to overpay for the fuel for our move, however. We reported this issue upon return of the truck.Edward F.

Cleanliness of cab of truck not clean. Door border fell off while driving but was already falling off when I got in the truck.Anthony B.
The truck smelt like cigarettes. Once I got to location with the phone movers got there we couldn't get the truck open bc I wasn't given the key to open it. Then no one answered the phone so 1800 uhal put me in another truck at another location out of my way to then go back to the store where the movers were which I made them 99$ per hour to move me which took an additional 3 hours from the time I couldn't get into the 1 st uhal. Then the lady from uhal said she would give me a $50 credit for inconvenience. To get nothing once I returned the rental in. And chargers extra for gas that wasn't in thereLashayla C.

The truck was not cleaned when I received it. The office was closed because of the opening time so there was no one to check this issue. However, I had a deadline to meet. Also, I cranked up the truck. I recognized that there might be something amiss with the muffler. I did not think to look underneath. I then proceeded to go to my moving appointment. Upon my return and check-in of the truck it was discovered by the checki-in crew that the catalytic converter was missing.. The reps upon then offered me a no costs receipt of the rental. However, later last night, I received a new receipt in my email showing a cost minus the rental fee. This is not acceptable.Kenneth F.

I rent from U-HAUL almost daily. There's always issues and mistakes on your end. Yesterday, 2/24/22, I had a truck scheduled for pickup at 9 am. There was no staff at the location for over an hr! They switched my counter pickup to a truck share without notifying me. Because I'm use to this type of irritating confusion with U-Haul, I paid and left with my rental. Driving on the highway; quickly realized U-Haul put my life in danger. Every time I had to hit the brakes, the truck would jerk hard to the left! Thank goodness I made it to my first destination alive! While loading the 26ft truck I realized I was going to need a 6x12 trailer as well. Booked a one way trailer to drop off where the truck rental was due back. Nearly midnight; headed to drop off location and I'm not able to do so because U-Haul has made yet another mistake. Not just in my experience, but the THIRD screw up for the day! I call customer service, inform them of their mistake and I'm told there's nothing they can be done other than text and email someone who is sleeping! I did everything I was suppose to do and I shouldn't be penalized because you all are incompetent! I expect a phone call to resolve this matter and some form of compensation immediately!ADRIANA R.
