There is no Midtown Discount Tire in business and hasn't been for over 3 months. I was redirected 1/2 mile away to where the equipment sat in a vacant lot and instructed to pick the proper equipment and to pass the unit number to the U-Haul representative on the telephone. I then had to connect the equipment on my own and disconnect again on my own upon return.

No Uhaul worker, only a drop off yard. I had no way to let anyone know the 26 ft truck had maintenance issues. The brakes were bad, suspension horrible, and front hub on wheels were leaking. Stressful and scary as it put our lives in jeopardy. But went long distance haul from AZ to TN with auto transport that also damaged my vehicle. I filed claims with Uhaul and hopefully they repair before renting out again.

Martie GYour maps can be more accurate. We saw tow dollies at a site in Wartburg that was not on your map. The Wartburg site was much closer to our location.

Nicholas WTruck bed was filthy! I had to wash off the oil on the floor and sweep it out. They recorded the mileage incorrectly and I was charged for an additional 299 miles. Glad I took a picture of the odometer to prove I DID NOT drive those additional 299 miles that I was charged for on the return (but credited after proof was given.) You had to go one place to get the key to the truck then, drive down the road to pick up the truck in a grassy lot that needed to be mowed

CHRISTOPHER CThe trailer was not at the location specified. Upon arrival I was told to go to another location and get the trailer. They told me I would have to hook up the trailer myself and then come back there to let them take a photo. The trailer didn’t have light hooks ups on it and they had to take hook ups from a different trailer and put on the one I got. It also didn’t have a safety chain and they had to take one from another trailer and put on the one I got.

Michael WThe truck was in operable and the new it when they gave it to me but I couldn't pick it up at that time because they refused to help me load my car so I had a comeback to pick up the truck and they were already closed but when I turn on the truck the yellow light came on check engine it sounded like a freight train and when I went to move it I had a press the gas all the way down to get it to even move and it won't go over 30. Thank goodness I was only a mile from home and I called u-haul repair service and they got someone out there and they said the Cadillac converter had been cut out of the truck The people at the u-haul gave it to me inoperable.
Tamara SMidtown Tire was not at all helpful - no offer to help with hookup or light check, no verification of towing equipment. I checked the trailer tire pressure before I loaded anything, and found 40 PSI, 37 psi, 40 psi and 15 psi. I will urge anyone who asks to avoid doing business with Midtown Tire.
Richard GNo one greeted us when we arrived. We had to hunt for someone to help us figure out which trailer was ours. Then they just said "that one over there." They didn't help hitch it up and it was actually stuck on another trailer . They were very annoyed when we had to go inside to ask them to help us get it unstuck from the other trailers.
PAUL MWe had a little trouble with the app at the end. It wouldn’t submit photos and the pick up location was closed but I called and they let me leave it without the closing procedure. Also, a photo of the lock would be useful on the app.
Thom PWhen the Uhaul scheduling person has a family emergency, make sure another person can handle Uhaul customers. Then when the person with the family emergency returns, don't call the customer five times, over issues this person should have been able to handle. Lack of training.
john cThe person that filled out the paperwork was rude and very difficult to deal with. The uhaul was within 4 inches of being blocked in by his personal boat and the business sign and when I told the woman at the desk about it she went and got the owner of the garage (rental location) and he backed the uhaul out with a scowl and I thanked him 3 times before I got even as much as a grunt and head nod out of him. The uhaul reeked of cigarette smoke and had garbage (coat hangers, broken personal items from previous user and cigarette ashes and butts all over the inside and ashtray and I had to smell a used ashtray for 254 miles all the way home I rode on the interstate with the window down. Stop allowing people to smoke in the uhaul and enforce cleanup from the rental store before its let out again.

Raymond FSend customers to another location. The people at this one act as if it is very inconvenient for them to rent to someone. Also I've never been charged for both gas and milage for a local run. Won't be renting here again. Which is a shame because it is close by and we are a small new business that had intended to rent from Uhaul until we could find a truck of our own.

DARREL COrder messed up after arriving. I ended up being charged for two separate requests and $300 more than original order Since tow trailer was deleted from original request
AMBER GThe bill was higher than I was told would be on my card. The vehicle was returned after 30 hours of use and less than 100 miles. The bill was in excess of 223 dollars. I returned the vehicle with the same amount of fuel. Will I get an itemized bill?
Tommie CThe only problem was I rented a 10 ft truck and it had not been returned yet. I had to rent a 20 ft because the site office could not get her representative to answer. I should not have had to pay the difference in cost.
