The quote I received was not honored; it took having to call customer service to get it right. After they assured me that the price was right and they added the miles on the contract and assured me that I had 290 extra miles under the agreed on price, they tried to charge me extra at checkout per mile. I am now having to dispute charges after having talked to customer service already about this charge. There is something they did wrong on their end and they did not honor the contract that I signed but they are acting like it was my fault and I’m making stuff up and it’s still not sorted out and now I “owe” uhaul money. It is still in dispute. This is exhausting and no one has helped fully resolve this issue yet.

Dan WI rented a van truck for a four hour window, while it was very easy to reserve the truck, picking it up was a whole different experience. We checked in - in person and when we got the the van, the worker was going to move it for us out of the very tight parking place. He jumped out of the van and radios inside asking to bring out a bag because there is a cat in the van. Yes, a living cat. We walked over and saw that there was indeed a cat inside and a few piles kf cat poop. Long story short, the worker who checked in the van, didn’t actually inspect the van. We have allergies to cats and we told them that. They did accommodate and provide us with a different vechile and did not up charge us but I have never experienced a living animal in a uhaul rental. I hope to never experience that again.

Stacey BIt was very frustrating experience. It was crazy that the van was at 7/8 of a tank when I picked it up. It's next to impossible to get it back to that exactly so I ended up filling it up all the was basically so it cost me 20 dollars extra. Then the van was dirty so it's hard to inspect to see if there was any scratches or dents that were covered up by dirt or mud. The back of the van had dirt all in it and was dirty. Then employee ended up just throwing blankets in the back and stay to lay that on the floor to cover the dirt. Both at pick up and drop off both employees were very rude. I am extremely disappointed in my experience.
TIMOTHY SYou estimate the mileage for my move at 120 , I still had to drive from dealer to house , then from new house back to dealer . That why I was over 27 miles which I was billed for . That’s what was wrong ,

Dale BThis was my first experience using U-Haul to move. The staff was very patient and thorough during check-in and made sure I had everything I needed. I’m not planning on moving myself again, but I have 4 kids who will move frequently in college and as young adults, I absolutely will pay for this service for them for the convenience!

William MNothing! Your website made it easy to reserve the truck. Your rates seem very reasonable for an in town move. The employee at the Midwest Ace Hardware couldn’t have been any nicer or more helpful in explaining everything to me as I have never rented a truck before. I believe his name was Steven and I would like him to be recognized for the outstanding job he did for me!!!
Jean SThe inside cab of the truck was filthy. Some kind of sticky liquid was spilt on the dash at some point and it obviously hasn’t been cleaned in a while. I turned it back in exactly how it was given to me, I would suggest the employees give the interiors a once over before allowing the trucks to be rented out.
