The lady working the counter said their machine was broken and had me call a number to confirm my reservation. I ended up getting transferred a couple of times and eventually put the phone on speaker so that she could hear the customer service person say that I had to get the key from her. Clunky experience but overall I was satisfied.

I had scheduled a UHAUL pick up a week prior to the date that it was needed. Upon arrival to pick up, we found that the keys were locked inside of the UHAUL from the previous customer, and was not noticed until I was there to pick up. I was given a bigger truck to use at the time, which was nice, and the employee who helped me was very kind. I’m more so upset that I paid $75 for this truck, had to wait an extra 30 minutes to get it checked out despite having filled out everything online previously, and then was being charged an additional $16 today without any notice or explanation. At the time of booking, my estimate was $36 and I ended up having to pay $75… how is this possible?

This location was a mess. It was at a gas station and the attendant had no clue so she had to call someone multiple times and they didn’t answer. She finally got someone and I had to talk to them on her personal cell phone and they did the pickup forms over the phone. No instructions were given for how to return so when I went back I asked the same lady at the desk. She just smiled and said I could give the keys to her. Well, I didn’t get info that the truck was checked back in for return until the next day which made me nervous so luckily I called uhaul to report that I had returned it by my return time of 2pm. Then on my receipt I noticed that I was charged for 4 gallons of gas and a $30 fuel fee. When I got out of the truck it was above the mark that was indicated on my check in form. I will never use this location again. Awful experience

I was originally charged the daily fee, movers blankets and insurance upon picking up the uhaul. Then when I returned I let them know I forgot to grab the moving blankets and never took them so I’d like to not pay for those. He said okay and then proceeded to charge me $130 … confusing considering at .99 / mile and I drove 63 miles … I asked for an explanation, where he then ignored my concerns then proceeds to CHARGE my card while brushing me off and told me to call a number to deal with it. As if I have the time with moving or the extra money to be charged twice ! Moving is expensive… horrible experience.

The person had to call someone to figure out how to check out the truck and I was charged a cleaning fee after returning the van clean. I have pictures of the cleaned out truck along with my watch showing time and date. This location feels more like a scam than anything.

Clerk did not know how to check out the truck, I had to wait and talk to someone on the phone. Truck was filled with previous person’s junk. Bed frame, chairs, glass panels, padding, etc…. When you I told the clerk he told me to empty it by the dumpster

No uhaul rep. Vehicle key was not available. Waited 40 minutes in gas station even after checking in with a mobile device. All communications with manager were done using the cell phone of gas station clerk. Had to use other 10' truck. Invoice used mileage of truck not used.

This was not the location that I booked and was made to change at the last minute setting back a plan and adding extra milage. I prepaid $10 for moving pads that were not included at the location. I was told they would be waived, but were not.

The process was not quick and there was no gas in the truck when we picked it up. We had to fill the tank and didn’t get reimbursed for someone else’s account error

The reason I’m recommending this location is because the owner was very professional and made the process easy. But mainly because he had a truck available for my reservation. U-haul as a whole has problems when it comes to reservations online. I reserved 3 trucks from 2 other locations that same week only to get a 3 calls to tell me the trucks I reserved will not be their. I thought that is why I reserved it? If you make a reservation online, make sure you check your confirmation page to see which location it’s going to be at because that got changed too. Also, call the location before your pickup day to make sure it will be there.
