do not rent a van from uhaul in Bowmanville,Ontario,the receipts you get for renting a van is from some moving company.

Wasn't taken to inspect truck. Told truck had 3/8 gas, but was on empty. Got key at 11am, but didn't pick up till 415. Went to see renter, but he had left. Took picture of gas level.

I am a registered charity through Renvenue Canada and I being over charged,does anyone have any compassion for people anymore?How do we sleep at night when people need help? I deliver to fresh grocery to people in need,so the whole world can become healthy. I was in an accident all the money I receive went into the charity to help people. Misbah motors on two separate occasions incorrectly indicated the amount of fuel in the rental vehicle. Both times the gauge was on 1/8th of a tank, and the paperwork indicated 1/4 of a tank. I was told this was due to the fact Misbah motors would have to pay the difference and instead passed the charge onto the customer. When I booked online it was indicated there was a 15' truck available, but when I called the dealer directly, the next day, I was told there was no truck and I could use a 10' or 17' foot truck instead. That night a contact from U-Haul in Scarborough phoned me and guaranteed a 15' truck would be available at my desired location. It was. The only other issue was the vehicle seemed to initially resist going into reverse once started, but after a few minutes there was no issue. Everything else about its' performance and drop-off were excellent. I don't know about your dealer at Misbah motors, he seems shady and I will ensure others are warned about him.

They charged me for a 2 day rental when it was a 1 day rental. The trailer also only had 1 safety chain on it.

The location of the truck had changed several times. I drove 40 minutes to pick it up, truck was not there, but back 40 minutes the other way. It was disgusting, whomever had it before smoked in the cab, left all their garbage in the back; smoke packs, used face masks, water bottles. Terrible and stressful last 24 hours dealing with uhaul. Customer service, did really help with all the issues in the end dispite the miscommunication amongst the company.

Office was tiny and very cluttered. Truck was parked in deep mud and not on paved parking lot. Had to spin the tires to even get out not to mention the mud all over my shoes. Renting a truck shouldn't mean I should have to wade through 6" deep mud to access the rental.

Everything went well with exception to there being no dolly in the truck which was mentioned in the rental. I picked up the keys from the helpful employee and noticed when I got home there was no dolly in the back. No big deal, we worked around it

Truck fuel was wrong as well as mileage, drop off and storage in Ajax was a nightmare. Staff has no idea how to use computer system, major waste of time.

Arrived for my 11am pick up at 10:50am and had to wait in the cold until 12:00pm until someone came to the office to give me the keys. Truck battery died twice, Jumped it the first time but had to call road side assistance the second time. Overall terrible customer service

the owner is very shady, the type that says don't worry don't worry but put nothing in writing. Once I received the contract, because he won't provide one other than e-mail it to you, it was not as discussed. had to call head office to get the mileage as promised. I returned the truck early gave the key to the owner and said everything was good. Not exactly, he rented the truck to someone else, under the table, within my contract date. He later charged me for 407 tolls ($75) which were for a day after I returned the truck. I had to deal with head office and took me forever to get reimbursed. The owner is a crook and U Haul should cancel his franchise
