Per my contract this was the location for drop off, however when dropping off I was instructed to return the equipment to another location 45 minutes away per their electronic version of my contract. I dropped the equipment per my copy of the contract and left. Not disappointed with the location but with Uhaul in general for the substandard level of professionalism on their part.Phil K.
Tried to drop off trailer 24 hours early at our approved drop-off location. The office was shut (not closed - just shut to customers) due to coronavirus concerns. Eventually I got an employee to come out to accept our rental drop-off. She said she had no record of our trailer being scheduled there, and complained that U-Haul was sending her too many trailers and she didn't have room to park them. (I had copies of both our reservation and our rental receipt showing her location as the approved drop-off). She went back into the office to call U-Haul, and told me to remove the trailer and push it back into a grassy area next to the road. Even empty, these trailers can be heavy and difficult to maneuver on a slope. It was not easy to move the trailer without losing control of it and having it roll out into traffic. Eventually I manhandled it into position. After sitting in the car waiting for over ten minutes, the employee eventually came out and said she was still unable to reach U-Haul on the phone, and the best she could do was give us a hand-written receipt for the trailer. She said she would email us a final receipt, but 6 days later we have yet to receive one.Greg P.

Excellent customer service. Was told when tow dolly was rented I would have to reserve for five days but would only pay for time used. Picked up Wednesday morning in Davenport and returned Thursday evening in mooresville. Two full days but the young lady in Iowa charged me For five days and the person in NC could not reverse the charge. Can you help? What should I do?James M.

The trailer that I rented required the use of a 2" receiver ball and I was not informed prior to arrival. I brought a 2 5/16" ball because that was all that I owned. Unfortunately this location did not have receivers available for loan or purchase and had to drive somewhere else to purchase one. Not the fault of the location in my opinion, but if you have a location renting trailers they should be equipped to loan or sell the required equipment for your trailers. Also the person on the phone who is setting up the rental should inform customers of the required equipment prior to their arrival at the location.EDWARD S.

U-Haul made it very difficult to have access to a truck!!! First a 10ft. was confirmed then not available. A 15ft. was offered in Statesville, NC. No call to confirm. I was suppose to pick it up there. I called and found out it had been rented. No notice. Reservation was cancelled without my knowledge. Had to go to Mooresville NC. instead. 20 miles further. This was not a good experience and will not recommend U-Haul.virginia G.

Had difficulty finding location to take trailer back, could not locate the original due to bad instructions, but found another location that was very pleasant and accommodating.Tania A.
Truck had bad brakes. I had to pull onto the shoulder twice in order to stop! Transmission was shot, barely made it up hills in Tennessee. I had to use the emergency blinkers so traffic could avoid me. Last time I ever use UHaul and I certainly will warn friends not to use your trucks.David G.
