The place was clean but not inviting. It is a crowded lot and deciding where to leave my trailer within the instructions was not an easy choice. No one was on site to confirm my blankets were folded correctly, the right quantity, or to confirm the trailer was clean. I called your "help" line and the operators were very nice. However, I would like the confidence to know everything is acceptable to U-Haul. I would like assurance there will be no back charges...

Nelson MTruck exterior was dirty, had a hard time seeing through windshield, mirrors. Truck AC not working, very inconvenient during this summer heat. Truck had/has strong fuel odor on fuel tank side possibly leaking/wasting unnecessary fuel. Agent was courteous, helpful through reservation process.

Catherine OThe employee did not confirm the lights were functioning which required a roadside assistance. Uhaul roadside was excellent and fixed the issue in the middle of the night. Insure employee is trained on importance of insuring trailer lights are functioning before customer leaves.

Alisha VThere was no one there. There were no instructions when we got there. We wasted over an hour AFTER I did the online checkin. Escalon was over 11 miles back to Modesto,which I guess was charged against my allotted mileage and gas. I ordered 5 blankets and no dolly. There were no blankets but a dolly. I am no waiting to see If I can get a refund on the blankets. Very Poor.
Hal CI had no problem with the equipment. I had reserved it for 8am at the McHenry store in Modesto. Apparently the person that was renting the van before me didn't turn it in and the Uhaul store didn't have another one available. Instead of Uhaul calling around for me to find another one, they did nothing. It was a major inconvenience to me. I had to call their central dispatch to find one for me. They were very helpful and found a rental location with what I needed. Mountain Valley Sheds (half an hour away) was very helpful. The Uhaul location on McHenry should have called their dispatch for me. Regardless, I didn't get on the road for 3 hours. It put us way behind as I had to travel to Fresno to load and Chino hills to unload. I didn't get done til 1:30 am. Left Chino Hills at 6am to return it. I didn't get any break for the inconvenience and actually was charged $20 more for turning it in after hours ( on the weekend because the place I rented from was closed on the weekend) it was considered after hours even thought it was returned within 24 hours. But Uhaul is not going to lose any money for the inconvenience they put me through and they aren't going to care at all that they did.
