Answer the phone and updates. I had representatives keep me on hold for over an hour and put the phone on mute. I said â€œhelloâ€ over 5 times before anyone returned to the phone. Because it had been over an hour hold the rep decided that she could no longer assist me and rushed off the phone. Nobody could tell me why my reservation was not showing up on my account which in turn made it more difficult for me to return the truck. I also waited for the rep to verify my account and after verification was completed no one notified me or sent a message. I was told i had to contact the location in the morning in order to complete my order. Worst experience for 1 hour of use on this uhaul. It took more time to wait on hold then it did to use the actual truck.Latasha K.

The 15-footer is leaking is several places: The two front corners, and at least one place in the middle of the roof. That will not matter to most who will be moving in good weather. I realize that Uhaul provides a disclaimer. Just be aware and plan for it. Otherwise, the staff at the place was excellent, and yes, i recommend it regardless of the leak story.JEAN-FRANCOIS V.

I've used uhaul for 19 years and the condition of the vehicles has gotten abysmal. There is no standard for the cleanliness of the cabs anymore. Especially in a COVID environment, there should be greater care taken. I can't blame uhaul corporate for the hiring procedures of someone who keeps uhaul vehicles locally, but the woman I rented from yesterday was out of control unprofessional. For the prices uhaul charges, I expect a hell of a lot more effort. Disappointing.BRANDON D.

Be open during business hours. Remove the previous rentals belonging from the seating area of the vehicle, and do inspections with the customers present. Also, hire professional managers who are capable of communicating with customers. The current woman is overwhelmed, dishonest, and unable To manage her work load.Lovey B.

Work on you logistics team and customer service. I made a reservation a week ago. You called and I confirmed it. The day before my truck pick up day you changed locations for pick up. So I went there. Guess what?? The truck wasn't available. So you ask me to go to another facility after the Storage facility manager talked to you district manager to find a truck for me. I was dropped off!!!!!!! My ride left to go to work. So the storage unit manager â€œwhich isn't UHAUL had to give me a ride to a facility across town. A stranger had to give me a ride. I was on hold for 25 minutes trying to reach a representative to ask for some sort of competition for the hour and half delay. Your company brushed me off. Screw you . Change your name to USUCK ! It's more fitting.Michael W.

During my move on Thursday, 30 July, I attempted to contact U-Haul customer service to explain to them I would be running about an hour late for my drop-off; this was to not avail. I was later contacted by an associate at my pick up location - asking if I was on my way with the trucks I informed her of the aforementioned situation and apologized, telling her I would be happy to pay any fees I have incurred due to this inconvenience. Upon return to the store, I completed the mobile drop off procedure. I then realized I did not have my mask to safely enter the store and drop off the vehicle key. I decided it was most appropriate to use the key drop-box, which slid the key into the door. As I began walking away, the employee who had called me earlier rusher to the door (while assisting other customers) and began to raise her voice in an unprofessional manner, exclaiming â€œMR. ....!! I've got you! Oh, don't worry I have got you!!!!!â€, I can only assume to insinuate that there would be further consequences for my actions. This situation, which added stress to an already stressful part of life, has left a bad mark on the U-Haul brand for us and we will be looking at other moving services in the future and will advise family and friends to do the same.Derin B.

If I could rate the service here in the negatives I would. I get to the location to pick up my rental truck and my dollie is not present and no rep was present. Come to find out after I turned in my truck they didn't have dollies on site. This would be nice to know if you request something and they don't have it to inform your customers.Billy F.

The check-in process was a bit of a hassle. We already uploaded the required documents, to include copies of our drivers license online, but the app still asked for them. The process had a lot of redundant steps that could have been streamlined together with the website to ensure a smoother check-in process.Nathaniel M.

The lady (Mika) at the front was good, Just a few minors, Wanted a smaller truck but "it wasnt available" no problem, went for the next size instead. The truck rented was wet and dirty inside when i got it, no big deal I swiped it. But then got extra fee for it because it wasnt swiped, ??? The lady just gave me the keys and you are good to go without inspecting with us. Kind of strange but no biggie, but then some additional fees were charged for "same reason". Gas fuel was put in the truck but still charged because "it wasnt were it was supposed to be. Overall, customer service was good, but if will charge additional fees they need to make sure that everything is handed to you the way they want to receive it. Make sure you open and inspect EVERYTHING before leaving the location! Otherwise you will be overcharged for something that wasnt right to begin with!Jose T.

First of all I returned the uhaul after sweeping and washing the back of uhaul. Then put a pad lock on door so no one would steal the dolley. The female morning shift attendant say she found a piece of wood in truck and proceed to charge me a cleaning fee for a lil wood chip she say. By the time I got there the place was close. I have never had someone charge without conferring with me first. Especially when I and 4 others insured the back of that truck was cleanCurtis R.

The u-haul online portal was terrible. The pictures that were sent to me was not the truck that I was renting. The rental truck pictures looked brand new. Wanted to make sure that any damaged area on that truck was documented by taking pictures but apparently there's a limit on how many pictures can be uploaded. Also, it wasn't a half of tank like the portal stated. Then it timed out and said my session had expired. If this portal is your new way of checking out rentals then it needs more work.Rolanda S.
