I would like to start off by saying a HUGE thank you to Jill in the front office! Without getting too specific and wasting characters, I was absolutely blown away by the speed and efficiency of which Jill and her team were able to settle the complex issues concerning my Uhaul truck and trailer rental from the southern border. I brought my wife and my two babies with me to wait in the car outside, needless to say I was not only stressed about my complex situation but I was also in a big time rush. The office area is so cozy and family friendly my stress quickly began to melt as I took pictures of some of the funny signs and posters on the wall for my wife and I to laugh at later(she loved 'em haha). Jill's demeanor perfectly matched her homely and inviting office. Though, most appreciated was her efficiency above all. We laughed and talked and debated, and the whole time her work pace didn't slow a second. Not only was the conclusion quickly reached, but she made the calls and fought the fight for the outcome that I most hoped for. Thank you Jill. 100x's over!

U-haul was so dirty. Needed oil change, looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in ever. I was very disappointed I should get money back for cleaning it so i could even use it

The location itself was fine, except the key drop off, was unmarked and looked like part of the hinges of the glass door. It was far more difficult to find than it should have been. When dropped off after hours, it should be clearly marked. This one wasn't marked at all, and it matched the door frame.

Make sure they know you can get the key from the lockbox before the store opens.

4 stars because of the system, not because of location. App pick-up worked great up to getting the key. U-Haul changed pick up location the day before, and I had changed to touchless pickup 2 days before that, but the facility wasn’t notified of that, so they didn’t know to leave keys in the lock box. Had to wait for location to open up at 9 to get keys.

The man was very cortices when we made the order. When we picked it up, he was right there to hook it up for us. When we dropped the trailer off, he was out to lunch. I called and left a message that we it off. He called me back to me and let me know that he received the trailer and got my message. He thanked me for letting him know and for using his facility.. Very nice young man.I will definitively use this location again when I need another trailer.

This place has anything and everything to help you move. They sell items I never knew uhaul had like color coded tape, every kind of padding and boxes imaginable and several neat gizmos to help your move.

The trailer had tar on the floor and was not clean when we got it. We had reserved it the day before for pick up at 1pm but the place was closed until 2pm so we waited for an hour for someone to open up. They were very nice and did a wonderful job hooking up the trailer and conducting the safety checks. Wonderful people!

Everything was great at this site/location. It was the previous location, 217 South J Street in McAllen, where I got left high and dry. Had I not called 15 + - times, I never would have a return call stating the owner was out of town since U-Haul apparently does not have a check and balance system after they have you lined up to pick up a vehicle.
