The location website stated that it was open on Saturday 9am to 1pm. I arrived at the location and dropped the trailer at 10am and left a message. I never received a call back and ultimately called the corporate number to make sure that they knew the equipment was turned in.

UHaul specifically asked that we drop off equipment at this location. One might assume that we were expected. Alas, NOBODY was at this location to accept delivery of equipment and we were forced to make delivery using internet. Had we not had a smart phone, we would have had to leave equipment without an inspection or found another location to drop off.

I arrive at 2:25 to pick up my rental at 2:30 to find a locked facility with no help in sight. After waiting a few mins I called Uhaul’s 1800 number to be redirected to the scheduling department. After speaking with a sales associate I was directed to change my reservation to mobile which took until 3pm to complete (again, since I already made a reservation online prior to arrival). This pushed my deadline of 3pm back to nearly 3:20 in which I occurred extra cost of my manual labor. I do no appreciate the “confusion” or lack of customer service by the actual uhaul vendor, who was friendly but showed up 30 mins after my scheduled pick up. It will be hard for me to use or refer uhaul to ANYONE in the future. I pay good money for certainty and quality. There are plenty of other vendors that rent/lease moving trucks that are punctual and value their customers. As an entrepreneur my time is valuable as well as my partners and my business relationships matter to me!! Thanks for taking the time out to review this information!!

Pick-up location changed last minute, U-Haul cancelled my reservation and I had to call AT THE LOCATION to re-open it. Did not have the $25 worth of Dolly’s and blankets I had already paid for. Website is impossible to use and the “mobile check in” is infinitely harder than advertised. Very displeased with misleading advertising and overall U-Haul experience.

The truck was clean but the 7 Way trailer connector did not provide power to my trailer. As a result of this I had no brake lights or directional signals while driving from Durham, NC to Milford, DE which is approx 350 miles. When I arrived in Milford I connected my trailer to my pickup truck and confirmed the brake and signal lights worked. This was disappointing

The location does not exist!! The store front with the address looked abandoned and like it was out of business. No one was nearby or in site to help (it was 3 PM on a Tuesday)

Office was pretty rundown. Owner provided little to no info on the vehicle. He left the location before we did.

Rented tow dolly. Access from the street was awkward and through traffic was driving within inches of me as I was connecting truck to dolly. Contrary to phone ahead confirmation, site did not have tools to change hitch ball to correct size and i was told to take the dolly with incorrect size ball still installed. Dolly has damage to both fenders; was advised to "take it as is, no one ever checks on dollies". Lights on one of the damaged fenders was hanging by one screw at the end of end of day-1. No response to the mesg left on roadside assistance. On day-2, running lights on the damaged light housing no longer worked, still worked for brakes and turn signal and I used zip ties that I had in my truck to try to reattached the chrome trim and light fixture. By day-4, light itself is dangling from its wires and light housing (part of the fender) is no longer attached except by the light's wires. No response from roadside for the duration of the rental and had to explain to the drop off location that it was damaged before pickup; the records had not been updated.

My specified pick up location was changed by U-Haul against my wishes forcing me to drive an additional 20 miles in the wrong direction. The facility was supposed to open at 9:00 AM, the time I arrived in Hope's of getting an earlier start. The agent did not arrive until 9:55 AM. While I was there, three other customers arrived, but left in frustration because no one was there. Ironically, I had to drive past two other U-Haul locations on the way to this poor facility. If U-Haul was truly customer-focused, you would have moved the trailer I needed to the location I specified when I committed to my reservation.

Apparently very new location for UHaul. Owner was not at location at time of pick up ? No contract with truck at pick up? Owner never checked me in after I picked up the truck ( I had not signed up for online checkin ).

I couldn’t reach this location by phone despite calling multiple times. I called U-Haul corporate for assistance and because I was dealing with this location they didn’t offer much help. This led to more stress than necessary.

I arranged this pickup at a location that was less than a mile from the apartment. The day before the arranged pickup day, I received an email that I needed to pickup at another location, 6 miles away. Heavy traffic getting there. The agent was very nice and professional, but the computer system would not allow him to choose a dropoff point any closer than Danville. I had to call the customer service to correct the dropoff location. While on the phone with the customer service, I complained about the truck not being swept out. There was mud and even brad nails on the floor. I had to sweep it out and mop the floor before I could begin loading my stuff. The Customer Service rep indicated my complaint on my record, but said that it would be up to the agent at the dropoff location to determine if I should be partially reimbursed for the truck not being clean. I don't understand why it should be a call for the dropoff agent to make, but I mentioned to the agent at the dropoff location that I had to clean the cargo area before use, and she asked if I called the Customer Service. I told her I did, and that the Customer Service rep was supposed to have noted it on my account. But there was no offer of any refund.

Reserved for 8:30 but due to issues with the 24/7 ride share via mobile I was unable to pick up the truck after submitting/uploading the required documentation. Finally attendant arrived and was able to rent in person. Never received a print out of contract, mileage or how much it would take to fill. Was charged $30 refuel fee plus $30 for 8 gallons of fuel. First time renting from this location but have had issues with U-Haul the last 3/5 times I’ve rented. I’m a frequent user of U-Haul and considering using a competitor due to lack of consistency across authorized rental locations. Very displeased with my ten to recent rental experiences.
