Customer service was NOT a concern! The mngr ignored me when there were NO customers in the lobby. I had to ask repeatedly for them to check my 6x12 rental trailer into the system while the good old boys stood outside smoking and hanging out! It was deplorable, everything business and customer service ISN’T! I will never do business with this company! Unprofessional is me being kind…

Didn’t even offer to hook up the trailer, which I ended up doing myself. “It’s the only one in the lot. Just need a picture before you leave.”

I had trouble starting the uhaul. Had to get a friend to start for me.

I’m just making a note here that they told me to bring it back at 14th of a tank of gas. That’s what the contract they handed me said. The truck came with 3/4ths of a tank of gas. I have a picture including that. I ended the trip with 3/4ths a tank of gas, I have a picture of that. In the ending receipt it says I returned it with 1/8th under 1/4th. It didn’t say they charged me a gas fee. But I just wanted to say something about this.

Moving pads are not supplied to remote U-Haul locations, therefore, my order of 48 moving pads ended up as 12! Not good!,

Very easy to drop off. It would have been nice if Uhaul had recognized it as a drop off location. I said from the beginning that I was dropping the van off in Newport, and had to place a call upon drop off and my reservation still said Bangor. Lots of extra steps and time after a long day.

The billing. Right now my 5 hour rental is pending with a two charges at $264.45 each and an additional $172.43? What is going on??? I don't believe the mileage went over 100.

The day I went to pick up my U-Haul ( the day I had to move out of my apartment from Maine back to Michigan ) they told me I could not pull a U-Haul trailer with a soft top jeep wrangler even though it allowed me to book the trailer online with make and model of my vehicle. We ended up paying $600 more for an U-Haul truck and my dad had to fly to Maine for $700 to drive my jeep home, I also had to pay another $200 in rent for late move out and another $250 for gas for both vehicles. Absolute worst experience ever. I have used U-Haul for 5 years but will never again do business with U-Haul and will NEVER ever recommend U-Haul to any other traveler. So disappointed. I’d rather buy a 6,000 trailer than have to deal with U-Haul again. Also the workers were filthy like they’d never seen a shower and didn’t know what personal hygiene was.

They could not get their card reader to work. He had to go to Walmart “to get a splitter”. Took forever to get the contract and pay. The dolly ratchets were badly rusted and did not work very well.

The truck has a very heavy front vibrate between 60-65, it stops but resumes at 67-70. Whole truck shakes.

Property was small and many junked out vehicles everywhere. Not much room to maneuver to park trailer. Lots of mud and standing water. Was told after a while of being ignored by employees to just park it out back wherever I could find a spot. Office was very dirty and cramped. Not very inviting. Needs a good cleaning up. Looks like a junk yard.

When I dropped the truck off, attendant told me I was all set. Didn't bother to check with me the level of gas or condition of truck and then after I leave chargers me for two gallons of gas. Unprofessional to say the least.

Contract was for a 20 foot truck. Had a free upgrade to a 26 foot) assuming they didn't have 20 ft available). Truck is known to vibrate on the highway and had a shimmy in the front end.

Needed appliance dolly with straps they had none there. The truck was not clean in the back definitely not the front of the cab for sure. Definitely not cleaned. Also due to dolly issue was on hold for 3 hours approx. then arrived for drop off and they had no knowledge that they took Off the dolly when I was on hold. They were great in Augusta for sure.

if a product is in short supply ,you need to tell the customer up front so they can plan accordingly. when i wanted to confirm the district dispatcher told me there was no guarantee i would find a trailer. that statement could be very damaging to some people,in my case i drove 1000 plus miles to retrieve a car. now i am this far away from home without a way to get the car back.that dispatcher needs more training. at 24 hours from rental day another dispatcher told me they had one but it was it was 186 miles round trip from my location in maine ,this person assured me i would get the trailer and offered a discount for my inconvenience this dispatcher needs a raise she knows customer service thank you. the conversations i had with these people are recorded so you know who they are ,thank you

The truck was filthy. I swept out the back prior to using it for my items. Being the closest uHaul, it is convenient and quick to grab as needed. It took awhile for paperwork, and someone entered information incorrectly. The gentleman who assisted me was very pleasant and patient with the process and attempted to straighten out issues on their end.
