This is the second time we have rented a U-haul from Mullen storage. We have had no problems and the owners are friendly. Like others have commented we had to go to the opposite end of town (about 3 miles) and pick up the U-haul. Left our car there and returned later in the day to drop off the U-haul and pick up our car.

We called to pick up a 15 foot truck and she gave us quote for 29.95. When we arrived 20 mins later. She said she had no 15 ft truck and gave us a 29 ft for 39.95. Way more than we planned on paying.

Our only complaint was the fact that the online location in Upper Sandusky brought us to Fifth St. For a drop-off (it was 9:30 pm) and dark. Then, we saw a sign on the door, directing us to another location for the actual drop-off, which adds more mileage??

It was a little difficult having office and equipment at different locations across town. This ate up extra time (about 20 minutes) that really could have used.

I had to drive 20 mikes to return the U-Haul then when I showed up to the location. There was a sign telling me I had to drive to a different location on the other side of town to drop off the U-Haul

Had I not called with questions, I would not have known the truck would not have been at my “preferred” location. I picked this location because the website said the size truck I wanted was against this location, then when I called, I was informed I would actually need to travel over 60 miles in the opposite direction of my move to get the truck! The owner st the preferred location did agree to go pick it up for me though and have it at the preferred location. Never received a phone call 24 hours before, because of the date of pick up being a Sunday it was very concerning that there would not be a truck there when needed.

On Friday, Aug 24th, I reserved a truck for Sunday, Aug 26. Cost was to be $20.00 and I could pickup in Marion. On Saturday, Aug 25th I received a call and was told to pickup truck in Upper Sandusky at noon on Sunday. We drove from Marion to Upper Sandusky and no one was around. The owner took off with the key. We had to wait 2 hours. Then I was charged for a one way. I am filing a complaint as this was not a good experience. I was given extra miles to cover trip back to Marion and told I would receive an adjustment for the in town fee.
