winston JCould not find key drop box, had to leave it with the Munchies N More clerk. May not be as appropriate for advertised 24/7 pickup or drop off if people need to rely on shop open hours.
Arash GExtremely slow to process me. At the end I returned it with the same amount of gas on the print out sheet. I told him but he did not want to inspect, then proceeded to charge me for fuel for Kms driven and a cleaning fee. Scammers. Do not go here.

Bingjie SThe 9 ft van we rented was fairly new and only had 4000 km on it. It was not labelled “uhaul” on the van but that’s ok as it was functioning well with working ac and a back up camera in the mirror. When picking up the van, driving out of the back parking lot was a bit tricky since it is a long van and the parking lot is a bit narrow, but we were instructed to turn the van around and drive forward going out, instead of trying to back out of the lot with limited vision. It would be helpful if the rental location reparked the vans foward as a courtesy, so renters could exit the lot easier. Overall nice location and the female staff member who helped us was friendly and professional.

Alireza SThis was the worst experience that I had using a rental car. The van was old and was falling apart. The cabin smelled like chemicals! The app for the self-checking was awful! I feel the money that I spent was wasted and will never use U-haul again in my life and also never suggest it to any friend or family!

Leslie LMy experience with the pick-up location and the employees who helped me was fantastic. However, I am very disappointed with U-Haul's gas rule to have the vehicle be returned with a quarter of tank full. There is no way for a person to be able to accurately fill a gas tank to the quarter mark. They will inevitably go over, adding more gas than is needed. This method ends up costing some customers more money on their rental and other customers saving money who then don't have to fill up as much gas. The vehicle I rented was used as the gear truck for a Scout Camp. Not knowing how much mileage the van gets on the litre and not wanting to be stuck somewhere unable to find a gas station, I filled the truck up. It cost $120 and I only ended up using $50 worth of gas. That's $70 that The Scouts of Canada, a non-profit organization, has to pay out for something they didn't use. Funds that should be going towards food and camping supplies. At the very least, the vehicle should be rented with 3/4 tank full so the person doesn't have to worry right away about getting gas. We will definitely be looking at other companies and options for future camps.

Nathan HGreat location. Good staff and the pickup truck I rented was very new. So relieved to drive something like that with a backup camera. Push start and Bluetooth audio were also good bonuses. Very smooth ride and great turning radius. Only negative is the parking/return spot is behind the store and is a bit tight. It fits perfectly, but if you want to be safe, it’ll take a few corrections to get it in, while returning it. The uhaul van is next to it and probably equally challenging to park.

Edward KThe truck was parked 1.5 km away from the depot, on Boundary Rd. That's right, the six lane artery. It's unsafe to be doing a self check-in, walkaround etc with semis going by. Two sets of neighbors gave me grief about parking there in succession when I returned it. This location has a parking lot but I guess they're using it for other purposes because they're filling up the street parking several blocks away instead. I rented a furniture dolly as well, which I had to either carry 1.5 km to the truck, or drive the truck back to the depot location to pick it up (so I'd be 1.5 km of distance and gas before I even left).

Almond JArea was dark and not properly lit. I stood outside someone’s house and not at munchies. Because the area was poorly lit It took me a long time to get the app to approve the pictures. It was a cold and wet morning and I didnt appreciate freezing outside

YAXIN BThe service was not delivered as expected. I did not find the cargo van where I had booked initially, I had to go to new location that was 5 km away from the initial location. The U-Haul did not even compensate me for the time and money lost while traveling to new location and all the trouble caused by them and there poor service.
