The attendant told us to move the truck "over there" and unhook it. My husband returned it. If I had returned it then I would not have been able to do it.

The drop off location did not have any information on our rental and did not know that the truck was being returned to their location. The guy had to call Uhaul to get our information. He had no paperwork at all on our rental or knowledge that our truck was being dropped off at his location. He had me park the truck in his lot because he never drove a big truck like the one we had and he was too afraid to move it. We where acousted in the parking lot by two extremely drunk people who where hanging out on the property. They approached our car, asking for $20.00. When they where told no, they proceeded to yell at us and called us all sorts of filthy names. As they where walking away, the one gentleman punched the hood of our car and gave us the finger. They then went back to sit on the corner of the store and then harrassed a young lady when she drove in and did the same thing to her. Very scary and very upsetting. No one should have to deal with this, for any reason. End of story. The gentleman inside was informed as to what was taking place outside, on your property and he was to afraid to say anything to the drunk man and woman. Really nice that Uhaul customers are forced to deal with this type of bs.

EMPLOYEES HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON AND WHEN THEY DID I WAS REFERRED TO ANOTHER LOCATION, DIFFERENT FROM WHERE I MADE THE RESERVATIONS. ( HAD TO PICK THE TRUCK UP AT ANOTHER LOCATION BECAUSE I MADE A " ONE WAY" RESERVATION.

The guy that runs the uhaul part of the drive thru kept using the word NIGGER. Needless to say the father of my children is black. I felt that is was very disrespectful. It wasn't a good look for business. And if I didn't really need that uhaul I would of cussed him out. I have let my family and friends know not to go shut there

1. Vehicle cleanliness: Though the representative who assisted me did his best, he was stretched very thin by his having to serve drive-through and walk-in customers as well as me. He did try to clean the van, but there was still a lot of debris, as well as bits of colored crayons which I had to clear so they would not be tracked inside. Vehicle condition: Though I don't recall doing any more than operating the light inside the van a few times after dark, when I attempted to start the engine when the loading was completed, it did not turn over. On the plus side, my call to the U-HAUL service center resulted in a very quick and helpful response. Equipment: The padlock attached to the van was not functional in that the key would turn, but the lock would not open.

I didn't care but it was odd that I was told to place the trailer in a location and left to do it alone. I have rented a lot and they take it off, they put it in the location they want it, not leave me to do it alone. Odd.
