Everything was great! Service, location, equipment...one thing for improvement is to tell people about taking pictures of odometer and fuel b4 because i wasted 10 minutes going in and out to finish the transaction. That would be my only observation. Thanks again

Good afternoon. Dear sir/Madam: how are you doing? My name is Ahmed Abduladheem. I rented a moving truck on Monday Sep. 28. from 1pm to 7pm and my contract # is 2892703 at National Self Storage Bloomfield. I am sending this message after I received the bill much higher than I expected. The extra charges were environmental fee, after hours service fee, no fault fee, and cleaning fee. I do not know why these charges applied to me. I would like to notice that the lady in the front disk did not mention anything about the after hours fee. she did not tell me about it, she did not tell me how to do the check out, and she did not tell me about the u-haul mobile app. In fact she just told me to bring the truck to the same location I pick it up and to return the key in a red box. I understand it was written in the paper, but no one explained to me how I can do it. Again, For the cleaning fee, she did not mention it at all. I didn't even notice a sign for it, nor it was in policy papers. I tried to contact them but they told me they can not do anything about it. please let me know if you need further explanation or information. I attached the bill to this email too. thank you.

I dropped the U-Haul off the lady was very very rude and unprofessional she's charged me for gas because I didn't fill it up it was not filled up when it was gave to me I put the gas exactly where was that when I got it and she stated that she can put whatever she wanted to put in for the gas and charge me for it which is completely unfair when I asked her for the keys so I can take a picture of where the gas was at so that way I don't get charged these ridiculous fees she refused to let me do so she was yelling at me as if I was 2 years old told me to shut up and listen to her when I was not arguing back with her I was trying to explain to her what the lady told me when I picked up the U-Haul she said she don't care I need to shut up and stay in my place very very rude and unprofessional I will never ever use that U-Haul again

Make it easier on the customers and stay responsible for whatever is required. I was not informed previously that my 2 dozen blankets and my furniture trolley that I paid for in advance online were not available in the first location that I picked the U-Haul up at, so I was told to go to the next nearest U-Haul location to pick them up. According to this first location, the 2nd location was supposed to have contacted me days prior to inform me of this, and that was not done. I had a screenshot of my order and the order number, just in case. When I got to the new U-Haul location, they not only couldn't find my order in the system for some reason, when I looked at my order on my phone, my trollies and blankets that I 100% ordered and paid for were gone! Eventually, I got what I paid for, but there was so much going on between the two locations blaming each other that I got stuck in the middle. It took me 2+ hours to get sometime I booked and paid for in advance. I don't know if their system is to blame, or the locations themselves, but it left a very bad taste in my mouth and I'm upset that it took this long.

Angela & Luanne were amazing. Came in a few hours before my reservation, explained that it would really help me out if I could take the truck early and they were receptive to my proposal. A few minutes later I was on my way. They were very pleasant, helpful and I got a refund on my deposit. Excellent location.

I feel I was taken advantage of with this rental. Started with a full tank and drove the vehicle a total of 16 miles. Gauge had moved off of F, so I put in gas to fill it back up. I stopped when I hit 4 gallons and $12 then was shocked to see the gauge go was past F. I asked the U-Haul rep for a refund when I returned the van as they knew I only drove it 16 miles and I showed them the receipt for the 4 gallons and $12 in gas. They blamed the gas gauge - which is a total scam and avoidance of responsibility. I will NEVER rent from that location again! U-Haul should stand behind the vehicle and its components and not blame a faulty gas gauge and essentially screw the customer.

I was allowed to reserve two furniture dollies online, when the store only carries one. They checked the uhaul system and sent me to another location for a second furniture dolly, that location didn't have any either.

I returned the truck 25 'late, it was my mistake. There were people waiting for the truck. The lady who attends (she told me she is the owner) when she saw me enter, she shouted at me for being late. The truck was clean, in the same condition that I received it. She went with a broom and shovel. I told her that the truck was clean and she told me not, and she talk to me rudely. She passed the broom, took out dust and took a photo to justify what she was going to do. She entered the store, she did not speak to me, she began to attend to the other clients and without looking at me she told me that she had sent me an email. She charged me an extra day ($ 29.95), extra insurance ($ 14), extra utility dolly ($ 7) and cleaning fee ($ 25). I know I was wrong to deliver the truck late, but the lady was rude to me, she disrespected me, and I think it was excessive what she charged me more. Finish paying double. And since the store already has your credit card information one can not refuse to pay.

My experience was fine the truck was brand new only 3500 miles on it so yes it drive fine and did what I needed it to do also the actual rental and return process was good as well but for some reason I'm seeing an extra charge from I haul for $22 aside from the $76 rental fee I cleaned the vehicle and filled the gas back up as well so I'm not happy about that

It was picked up at livernois and 7 mile, they need help,, we were there appx 1 hour, we even had to clean the snow off. The young lady was rude, they need help. I rented from them before, had no trouble.

I was told to bring the truck back full. I used the truck for 15 miles, stopped at the gas station a filled it. It took 4.5 gallons. Obviously it wasn't full when I was given the truck. I asked the attendant about the extra gas I put in an was told there is no reimbursement. So I get the extra $14 charge I am unimpressed

When I went to pick up my reserved vehicle, the wrong type of vehicle was listed. Thankfully, they had the one I wanted so it turned out ok. Once she started to do my contract there was a half hour delay because the computer system would not allow her to do it online. It wasnt until she made a call, my original order had to be cancelled and it was processed as a walk in. I found this very frustrating.

I rent from U-Haul regularly. The rental was fine. It was like new, actually one of the better units I've rented. The only problem is 10-days later after the return my card is being charged for an additional rental period. I tried to reply to the email that indicates: "If you have any questions or concerns about your moving experience or the attached receipt, please contact me at 754002_AFM@uhaul.com" but I received an automated message that the email address only accepts from within the organization. I rented the evening of a Friday, after work. At pick up the rep told me that as long as it was returned at clean, at proper fuel level and before they opened the next day, i wouldn't be charged any more. I didn't think it odd because I've rented on a weekend before and had similar terms told to me. It's not the money, it's the principle. I don't know if its just this particular location (first time going there), but I NEVER had this kind of issue before. Sincerely, A disappointed customer

National mostly focuses on their storage facility and the Uhaul services are a small part of operations. Uhaul did change my reservation to this location but didn't include the dolly or enough blankets (got 11 of 12 I paid for). Uhaul should assist their pickup locations better to ensure the reservation equipment is available. National made a good effort to find us a dolly.
