The location was ghetto! I was scared to walk in and wasn’t sure if I was at an actual business. No one inspected the truck with me or even provided any additional information! Worst of all the truck was filthy inside and there were roaches inside! I took video of everything! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

Very shady area with no lighting making late pickups very sketchy and difficult. The bay's the trucks are parked behind are not marked and are too low so unless you are paying attention you will drive through them and hit them.

Guy at this location told me I could return truck and equipment somewhere closer to our new home. When I did, I was charged an extra $150+ because he lied to me.

I do not know why you guys billed me past the time I turned the trailer in. Why did you all do that?? I shouldn't have to pay that hundred something dollar bill. The trailer was turned in the next day and it should have only been thirty dollars like promised by the guy at the check cashing/uhaul rental place near Raleigh NC. Hit me up about this asap.

I rented a truck for a day from 1609 Newbern ave. Raleigh nc, 27601 and was charged 81.00. He charged me for two days when I rented it for one and he refused to change the contract. He put on the contract 3 hours when I wanted it for the day. Me not reading the contract because uhaul has never done shady business before sign it. I tried talking to him but he refused to talk or make changes. I am still owed money now.

some things are not that well suited to do on a mobile app. process was involved and VERY time consuming. someone left a car blocking the truck -- I had to maneuver over grass to get out of the lot

The location had shirtless and shoeless people "hanging out" in the parking lot drinking beer and shouting at each other. My uber driver was so alarmed by the situation that he accompanied me into the location and remained until I drove out of the parking lot. The business was "closed for lunch" at 2pm--I had a reservation for 2pm. The milage was incorrect when picking up the truck but the contract with the milage was not sent to me until I drove off the lot. I CANNOT recommend this location.

The only thing that I was very disappointed about was the price. What was suppose to be a $19.95 truck rental turned out to be about $70. With all the added expenses, this I felt was unfair advertising.

Was not happy- we declined the insurance- it was covered under ours, but then it was charged after - we didn’t ok it. It was expensive enough with having to not return at same place

The online reservation and confirmation process is extremely poor. Getting in contact with a member from management who is willing to actually speak to you is nearly impossible. I spent all three days after making my reservation attempting to get it corrected to what I had requested in my initial online form. The supervisor or manager who was supposed to be getting in contact with me almost blatantly refused to call me and was consistent with messaging me until he realized my u-haul had been returned. Extremely poor customer service skills — not to mention you guys make changes to accommodate yourself with no customer consent. Horrible.

It’s not the location, it the process. I originally got a reservation and waited for the follow up email for 2 hours before calling back. Subsequently I called back about 4 additional times and after holding forcso long, the call is sent to voicemail which I left. Finally called a local store that was still opened and the Mechanical Blvd location found my reservation but said my name was spelled incorrectly. I spelled it 3 times on the original call??. The email was viewed for the address the morning of the move and there was no physical address, only “check cashing on New Bern. What the hell am I suppose to do with that information? Tried calling the reservation number again and you guessed it... can only leave a vm. Called Mechanical location again and he sent me the actual addresses. I’m very disappointed and dissatisfied with the hoops I had to jump through. I plan to not use U-Haul again nor will I recvommed the company due to the poor service received

the man who was entering my information into the computer was horrible. he tried to enter it so that I would end up paying way too much for mileage overage. I kept questioning him why he wasn't giving me better mileage and he said that I should do it online because I could get a better rate!! I actually left his store and called the Uhaul business I had used previously and he placed my order, gave me a confirmation with the proper mileage!! and when I went back to the store with the 1st man, he still had a hard time placing my order!!! if I hadn't had a good experience with the folks on Guess Rd, Durham, then I would not have used Uhaul!! New Bern Ave. business was a pure joke. and I was NOT lauging!! i'll never go back there again. HORRIBLE BUSINESS.

The owner/manager was incredibly inept, and couldn't seem to either get his computer to work, or process my debit card. He also told my sister, who was helping me move, that she could not leave our one vehicle on his lot while I moved, so we not only wasted 30 mins on his ragged processing, but another 30 mins to relocate her car!

I was charged for additional day because I went over 1 hour of my alloted time. They would not let me keep the truck but wanted to charge me for a full day which I do not agree with. I would like a refund for the additional charges

Make sure it is the correct location and reservation number. As I found out after signing the rental and was driving the truck away, it was not the right truck but was a similar truck for someone else's reservation. Your representative called me to let me know and managed to make the needed changes. She has my thanks for that help.

After hours of traveling on the road with the use of my navigation system my phone was on 5%. This being said my phone died while trying to do the after hours drop off steps and I had to drive to the nearest location to charge my phone for 20 minutes before I could return to complete the steps. I feel this was a huge inconvenience and it should be expected that a traveler/mover wouldn't have enough phone power to complete the extensive steps.

The trip Ins. Coverage was added on without my permission.Then when I found out at the drop off in Plainfield I was told they could do nothing for me. That they're supposed to ask if I want it or not, and I wasn't asked it was just added. Then when I asked for the money be deducted I was told they don't do that! That was $70.00 and looks like either people not doing their job or making money on my back or the insurance company!. I didn't ask for it, and would like my $70 back!!!
